Great experience in downtown Tulsa! Talking espresso with the very knowledgeable barista, who took some time to answer questions and share his espresso knowledge. Drinking a superbly made mocha added to it! Highly recommend their coffee beans too!

Coffee was great. I got the BSL and my spouse got the Caramel Mocha. We both thought they tasted nicely. We paid roughly $12-$13 before tip for two drinks so not bad.

4.4 - The coffee gets five stars easily. A small but pleasing space in the impressive Philcade building. If I lived or worked nearby one of their locations this is where I would go if not every day, regularly. Diligently crafted!Their history is interesting. The website details how the creator of this company moved to El Salvador with his coffee expertise and then went to the slopes of the Santa Ana volcano to raise a family that for generations has grown coffee. In 2001, they opened two roasting facilities, one on their own home town farm and one in Tulsa, OK. Topeca became one of the first farms to retail coffee shops in the world.Experiencing this first hand while staying in the Art Deco district, asking for a macchiato, staff asked me if I liked espresso. Yes. I was then shown the small traditional espresso cup I would get my macchiato in if I ordered this here. Surprising, coming from the Northeast where Dunkin' can give customers a large macchiato that is over 8 ounces. Nevertheless, for java purists anything with espresso is served this way.He suggested I get a 12 oz. toasted caramel latte. Good advice. Absolutely one of the best cups of any kind of coffee I've ever had to date. Dreamy. Memorable. Tough to replace. I did say on my way out coffee of this kind was going to be hard to find, even though even in CT we have a winner like GIV coffee in Canton. (see review) My partner had a Cappuccino.State laws apparently allow wine to be sold in these shops, as well. Interesting to see. Topeca also sells tea, appliances, accessories and brand bags of their own beans.

This place is very fun! I love the barn build. A lot of different spaces inside to work, chat, study or hang. I had a latte with oat milk and their house made sweetener and it was great. It’s a little pricey, but isn’t everything these days?! I would definitely recommend.

Double shot is one of my favorite Tulsa Coffee Spots. The atmosphere inside The Rookery is like a cabin in the woods with comfy chairs tables and bars to sit and chat or work or just hang out.The variety of coffees they roast in house is outstanding. There is always something new I haven’t tried yet. And my favorite thing they do is offer pour over coffee. So if you want to try one before you buy a whole bag, you can! I go back often and I hope you do too.

A very unusual structure for this neighborhood and even Tulsa, located a few blocks from the iconic “Corn Cob Building.” I was more interested in the building’s architecture than the coffee. It seemed very out of place. It reminded me of the weekend fishing cabins that I have seen in Montana, built along the banks of blue-ribbon trout streams, by affluent out of staters.I was enthralled with the interior. Post and beam construction, using hand hewn salvaged, reclaimed logs and lumber. Amazing beautiful wood, bearing the adze and axe marks that formed them. Some beams were aesthetically enhanced by years of weathering, a few showing stains of the paint that was used when they supported another building in another life. I spent the entire time admiring the timber and construction. The building is big. Two levels covering the coffee shop and roasting room. Comfortable expansive areas up and down, to relax and sip coffee.Double Shot is well staffed and staffed well. There had to be 5-6 employees on duty. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, personable and helpful. My wife gave me her order and went off to secure a table. I ordered my small latte with a shot of dark chocolate and for her a vanilla latte. The young lady replied “we don’t have vanilla we have panela.” Uh-oh, Houston we have a problem, what the hella is panela. I was only authorized to return with a vanilla latte. The young lady explained that it was basically brown raw sugar. Ok let’s give it a try.Success, both coffees were very good. This the most unique coffee shop in Tulsa.

Visited Tulsa for a personal trip and I’m always open to visiting local coffee shops. This place had some great reviews and located in a nice area. I can definitely see why it’s popular—the building and the space is very attractive. I hadn’t expected it to be so busy at 10 AM on a weekday but nearly every table was full. I ended up sitting on a cushioned chair.I don’t recall seeing a physical menu, only a QR code by the cashier. There weren’t many flavored syrup options, but my go-to is always an iced mocha. I also ordered a blueberry muffin. Both were great, though there was some slight acidity and bitterness to the mocha itself. Not too horrible but not my favorite. You really have to listen for your name to be called as well when your order is ready because there is no name on the cup.The one downside here is that parking is horrendous. No designated lines. The lot itself is awful as it’s not well paved and people seem to just make up spots which can get a bit sketchy.

98 percent of the people I met here were stuck up snobs. It's a shame. One that was lnt was a lady that worked here. Other 2 were customers.Young man lied to me about what night open mic was cause he didn't want me to come. The polite rudeness didn't stop. They skipped my name on the list. Intentionally.Years ago a girl I loved used to come here. Musicians saw me busking and said to come here and they wouldn't be snobby to me. They absolutely were were.I'm disgusted I expect better from this town. If you moved here. Move back. We was happy before before y'all came. They are as snobby as Jehovah's witnesses in here.If I come again ask me to leave to my face...Edit: It's a normal human response to feel this way. I'm sorry y'all acted that way. You need to get a new person to run your open mic.A lot of other musicians said you wouldn't be snobby to me but you was so hateful. Y'all mean mugging homeless people is gonna make our community unsafe. If y'all wanna antagonize people till they go crazy that is your business. Then all you have to say for yourself is sorry you feel that way.All these negative review about snobs being in this place are true. So ironic you call yourself a gypsy then proceed to be hateful to actual gypsies.Go ahead and be sorry I feel this way to....

Nice ambience inside the coffee shop, they have small tables with chess and jenga set up. They had coconut , almond and oats milk as substitutes. I grabbed an iced caramel latte (super strong and delicious) and breakfast burrito #2.The coffee shop itself is spacious inside and plenty of tables and chairs to choose from. As for the parking, there is a designated parking spots for the coffee shop, and if ever ran out of space, there are street parking that you can park as well. The service was fast and got my orders in few minutes. Nothing pretentious here. This is a business with a mission, staffed with ladies that want to succeed. Their effort to please is noticeable, with customer focused service, great coffee and pastries. These ladies care about what they are doing. The customer area is comfortable. It has garage sale, thrift store décor ambiance. Nothing pretentious. Relaxing. I like it, I can eat on the couch and no one cares. My wife had a Blueberry Muffin, with a Roasters Choice. Her Roasters Choice was an iced coffee. Straight dark rich brewed coffee on ice, no flavoring other than a little whipped cream on top. She loved it. For me Banana Nut Muffin with a “what I always get” Mocha. We ordered at the counter. No having to guess if the order placed out on the counter is yours. A friendly server delivered our drinks to the little side table that was between the funky dark blue velvet chairs we had selected. Relax we did. It worked we were in no hurry to go anywhere. One of the most comfortable laid back coffee shops we have tried in Tulsa.

I’ll get right to the point. I thought the place sucked. Indifferent service at the counter. The coffee was cold. We found one available table, only because it was dirty. Menu is a QR code. Being under the impression it's a coffee shop.... That I could order a hot coffee with cream and vanilla that's it. Nothing fancy. She started asking questions about the coffee. She said do you want drip? 1st I know there is instant and brewed. What the hell is drip? So I was like coffee out of a coffee pot. She goes oh got you. Brings me something that didn't taste much like coffee at all. Didn't seem to talk much, soft spoken, she would start off loud enough I could hear by the end of her sentence she was more quiet. The ladies working didn't have an inviting energy. The avocado bread was good though. Coffee not so much.

So close to being a 5 star but unfortunately a couple factors just bring it down a couple notches. Let's start with the positive: the coffee in of itself is fantastic, from the classics to the exploratory signatures - top notch. The staff are always friendly, the coffee is already ready when I pull up and convenience with app is exceptional. The downside: Size options are limited, and the largest feels like a regular coffee cup size. So, I pretty much pay $8 for a regular size classic or signature coffee. In addition, even if one of the locations allows me to request extra ice in my 'drafts', its still on the thin side and watered down. Back to sizes: I devour my cup before I even get home, which is a mile down the street. An extra large cup, particularly for drafts is VERY MUCH needed. And More Ice. And maybe the price should be a bit better, because I would think that an $8 draft would be a 20 oz cup, esp since it should be full of ice. So COFFEE QUALITY=SUPERB. STAFF=SUPERB. CONVENIENCE=SUPERB. PRICING=POOR. SIZE OPTIONS=POOR. ICE=POOR. Hence the 3 stars. Hope the company is looking for improvement suggestions, because it could be a 5* just with a little extra nudge.

This was a fun stop at a location conveniently near downtown, and across from Centennial Park. The space was quiet and conducive to studying, or quiet meetings. However, the dynamic didn't strike us as particularly unique compared to other similar places. The menu is only available online via QR code, and was a little scroll heavy for options, but the staff were helpful in sharing their recommendations (though they were out of some signature products when we visited during the holidays). What was ordered was fantastic and well-crafted, but was definitely on the high end cost-wise for a coffee - perhaps not the greatest value.

Happened upon this place and so glad we did. The service and coffee were top notch. And this apple butter toast was quite delightful. Nice atmosphere and location.
Fun, Funky, Fresh. Modern lovely funky cool coffee lounge with great baristas. Awesome menu. Drinks are fun and taste great. Many different combos of cold brew on tap. Love the cool vibe here and the atmosphere. I would visit more if I was in Tulsa. Will for sure stop by when I am in Tulsa.

History and Background

Cirque Coffee stands out in Tulsa’s coffee scene with its avant-garde approach to coffee, pushing the boundaries of traditional coffee culture. This innovative spirit is rooted in the belief that coffee can be an art form—a medium for creativity and experimentation. Founded by a group of coffee enthusiasts who wanted to challenge the status quo, Cirque Coffee quickly became a place where the unconventional is celebrated. Their approach combines the science of coffee with the artistry of brewing, resulting in a coffee experience that is both unique and memorable. Cirque’s mission goes beyond serving coffee; it aims to educate and inspire, encouraging patrons to explore the vast possibilities within a cup of coffee.

Ambiance and Location

Cirque Coffee is located in a space that perfectly encapsulates its innovative ethos. Situated in a rejuvenated part of Tulsa, the cafe itself is a blend of industrial chic and modern minimalism, creating an ambiance that is both cutting-edge and welcoming. The interior is designed with an open-plan concept, featuring sleek lines, geometric shapes, and a neutral color palette accented by vibrant pops of color. This design choice not only reflects Cirque’s modern approach to coffee but also creates a canvas for the coffee-making process to take center stage. Large windows bathe the space in natural light, highlighting the state-of-the-art brewing equipment and the baristas at work, turning coffee brewing into a form of performance art. The location has become a hub for creativity, attracting a diverse crowd of coffee lovers, artists, and thinkers.

Specialties and Must-Tries

At Cirque Coffee, the menu is a showcase of their experimental spirit and commitment to innovation. One of the signature must-tries is their Nitro Cold Brew, which offers a velvety, cascading texture that elevates the cold brew experience. For those looking for a unique twist on classic drinks, the Lavender Matcha Latte combines the earthiness of matcha with the floral notes of lavender, creating a beautifully layered drink. Seasonal specials are a highlight, with creations like the Smoked Caramel Latte in the fall, featuring house-made caramel with a hint of smokiness for added depth. Barista creations are another aspect where Cirque Coffee shines, with offerings like the Espresso Tonic, a refreshing combination of espresso and tonic water, garnished with a sprig of rosemary or citrus peel for an aromatic finish. Each drink is crafted with precision and care, inviting patrons to step out of their comfort zones and experience the artistry of coffee in new and exciting ways.
