This is a very quaint Mexican restaurant. It's a great place to have breakfast or lunch or just have coffee and hang out. Their food was really good and their bakery and desserts look delicious, I will definitely try them next time I go. Pedro, the gentleman that took our order, went out of his way to help us, and the rest of the staff were super nice. I absolutely loved the music and ambiance, especially because it was a rainy day, perfect for a place like this.

Enjoyed discovering a variety of options like pastries, sandwiches and plates. We had chilaquiles with salsa roja, a chipotle chicken sandwich and strawberry banana pancakes drizzled w nutella. For dessert.. flan (awesome), pan dulce- orange flavor (yum) and pumpkin empanda (too bready). To drink we had a cappucino, o.j. and iced chai tea latte. The chilaquiles and chicken sandwich were very good and flavorful. The pancakes were a disappointment. They sounded great on the menu but were gummy, not fluffy and did not taste good. It had a weird sourdough flavor. The iced chai latte was excellent. I believe it was fresh brewed and not just a concentrate mix. I enjoy supporting local owned and non-chain business. The waiters kept our table clean which was very nice and it had a modern rustic charm. We would try again.

Now this little coffee shop I absolutely enjoyed. Met there for a business meeting, and enjoyed the quaint setting. There was plenty of traffic, although the noise level was still very manageable. I tried the “London Fog” for the first time which was delicious. I don’t get by coffee shops very often, but this definitely made me want to visit others. My pictures weren’t the best, but here are a few.

Very very very tasty food, excellent selection. Very good coffee as well and the beans are a great buy too. My only complaint is that for how small the coffee is the price is a bit high, but that doesn’t stop me from coming back. My order was $20.

Nitro cold brew is a MUST HAVE!!! The taste, the bite, the caffeine was perfect for me. I also had a macadamia nut /lavender latte I’d give it a 4.1/5. The musubi was presented very elegantly, it was good too.

Coffee tastes way better than other chainUpdate 8/4: Try Avacado toast if you are here along with latte. Very tasty. Unfortunately A/C is not working. Just be aware if you are planning to sit and enjoy the coffee.. and no fans also inside..Update from 3/9/23:Ordered latte and chai latte, all 3 of them are just half.. this is not good. Am reducing the stars. Since we saw after driving, could not get chance to get to talk to them..

I loved the warm and cozy atmosphere of this place! It was a cold (37° ) and rainy day when I ventured into this coffee shoppe. The cinnamon scone and café latte, with heavy cream, was delicious and perfect for me warming up. The huge fireplace was a nice surprise and added to the relaxed ambiance of the coffee shop. I’m looking forward to going back and hopefully exploring the book shoppe area as I didn’t get to do on this visit.

My new favorite place! I wish I could be a regular but I am in Dallas and it’s a little far of a drive to come to regularly 🥲However, I love the atmosphere and that they carry Christian books. The cafe staff was so nice and helped recommend a food item to me. I ended up getting the ham quiche and it was very good! For coffee I got the cold brew lemonade which is one of my favorite drinks in general but this one was also good :)While I was there I saw that they do Bible journaling classes to help guide you on ways you can journal while reading which I thought was really cool. I noticed they have a lot of journaling bibles and Bible stickers to write on. This shop definitely have some of the prettiest bibles I’ve ever seen!

Love this little gem of a shop! Wonderful coffee, sweet baristas and amazing selection of greeting cards (including Kelly Rae Roberts). Drive 20 minutes just to come up here for greeting cards! Indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. The inside vibe is rustic, cozy book shop. Book shop selection includes books and gifts for all ages. Kind of feels like the old La Madeleine with dark woods, stone surfaces. Some four tops, many two tops. Lots of options for an intimate cozy conversation. They offer a free rewards program, too. Drinks served in your choice of traditional glassware or carry out cup. Non-dairy milk options available. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice simple spot. Ordered a dirty chai and 2 chorizo and egg croissant sandwiches. Dirty chai wasn’t too sweet, it was not the best one I’ve ever had but still pretty good. Croissant sandwich was yummy, very crispy buttery croissant. The inside ambiance didn’t have too much going for it, very basic decor, but still a good spot if you want to get some work done or have a quick coffee & a bite.

We came by for a cup of coffee while we were out and about. I was very pleased by how well made my latte was. The crossiant was one of the best I've experienced. The pastry was crispy on the outside and airy on the inside. I was told they make all of their pasties in-house and will have to visit again earlier in the day to try their other selections. The sitting is limited, so I wouldn't find it as a place to sit and work on my computer or read a book. We just came by to enjoy and left within 15 minutes.

I arrived right before closing. The young lady was understanding and made my drink. I ordered a honey lavender latte with oat milk double shot of espresso. It did not meet my expectations. I’m not sure if it was the ingredients or proper measurements. It left a bitter aftertaste. Small space, plain wood decor; not a place I would stay in long.In response to the owner: I appreciate your quick response to my review and would like to challenge your assumption. The coffee shops I go to are mom and pop shops that sell this type of latte; I order double shot espresso and more often than not it tastes great!

A friend of mine and I happened upon this place when we were looking for a coffee shop to meet and catch up. We prefer to visit the local shops as opposed to the big chains like Starbucks. We previously enjoyed going to Golden Boy Coffee and were disappointed to learn that they closed, but we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this shop.I had the iced matcha latte and it was absolutely delicious. Most matchas aren't sweet, but this one was perfectly balanced and my friend said she will l likely get it the next time we go. They have a small menu but the food is really good. We got the avocado toast with bacon and the egg over easy. The bread was toasted perfectly - not too hard and not too soft and just the right amount of butter for flavoring. The bacon was also not too crispy or soft. The ladies did a really great job with the drinks and the food and provided excellent recommendations. My friend and I are looking forward to our next catch up meeting and will definitely be heading to this coffee shop again.

This rating is strictly for the pastries which are made in house. We got the butter, almond, and chocolate croissants. Overall, really impressed with the quality for a coffeeshop. The butter croissant was crispy on the outside and very moist and buttery on the inside. Really enjoyed it. Almond croissant was also very good. Chocolate croissant was a little sweet for my liking and it had the chocolate spread on the inside.Edit: Updating for coffee. Flat white came out extremely watery and completely wrong. Pretty disappointing since the pastries are good but knocking off some stars off the rating.

My sister and I were hanging out in the Star one afternoon and decided to stop in for some coffee. Loved how the set up of the coffee shop is. Atmosphere is relaxing and chill. I had a Caramel Latte and it was absolutely amazing. It was so smooth and extremely delicious. Probably one of the best Lattes I’ve ever had.Sounds like this should be a 5 Star review right? Well pretty close. The staff has an opportunity to be a little more welcoming and friendly. Can’t say they were rude, just little personality. We did also wait awhile for our 2 coffees. I mean simple fixes. All that to say I’d definitely return for the taste of the coffee again.

I feel conflicted about Ascension. They used to have the best cup of coffee in dallas, but what I got here was, by far, the worst cup I’ve ever had. Completely under extracted to the point of tasting like wood. BUT the food was amazing. Straight up. The Aussie Sammie was the bomb. Go for breakfast I guess.

Excellent customer service, but the coffee beans need to be more toasted or a higher quality, the brew is almost water like or very light. Chicken croissant wasn't or didn't seem fresh, I saw the gentleman heat it up per my request but still was cold inside. Cool cafe nestled in Frisco Square with a great vibe. Most importantly, the coffee is on point. Frisco has a lot of coffee shops but not a lot of actual good ones, but this one definitely is. The coffee quality, crema, and frothing technique for the flat white was exceptional. They sell pastries like croissants and breads, and also make their own cakes. We didn't try the cakes but they look pretty good, more like an Asian style with whipped cream and not as sweet. The cinnamon swirl pumpkin bread was very good, had great flavor and very moist. It tasted exactly like something we would eat in a cafe in Europe. Highly recommend checking this coffee shop out.

We have been in Carrollton for a year now and Lemma Coffee ☕️ is my favorite spot their historic downtown. I enjoy walking to the coffee shop that has a great atmosphere, great customer service, and amazing coffee that can be paired with a delightful breakfast. This morning my husband had an avacado toast with and egg on top and endless drip coffee, talk about a healthy breakfast with a kick! I however got a vanilla latte with sweet vanilla cold foam and an everything bagel topped with strawberry creamecheese. They also have enough room for you to bring your stroller, definitely recommend for mommas who want to enjoy a cup of coffee and bring their little ones!Went to Lemma on this Sunday morning and let me say they do not disappoint!
