Had always been a passerby but stopped in since it was such a pleasant day. I was fortunate that the warmth of the day continued into the business. I'd gladly return when in the neighborhood.

One of my favorite coffee brands period. I LOVE Ceremony Coffee. Their Thesis, Antithesis, and Mass Appeal blends — YES. I enjoy coming here to enjoy an iced Mocha latte with Almond milk. I’ve heard excellent things about their pour overs, although I’ve not tried it myself. Their pastries are also quite tasty. They host fun events like latte art showdowns, sensory experiences, and the like.

Love this place! As a vegan, I have to say their food and drink options are wonderful. I can have an oat milk matcha or an almond milk latte and they both slay! They have vegan overnight oats, bagels with avocado and peanut butter, and even vegan cookies. The ambiance is right, too. Love this place!

Ceremony coffee has my favorite coffee in the whole city. Their roasts just always hit PERFECTLY! Very bright, you can taste the quality in every sip. Whenever wants to get coffee with me, I have them take me to Ceremony.I've sampled several of their crafted drinks, and a few seasonal ones because I always ask for a sip from my friends. Why do I not buy them myself? Because every time I walk in, I contemplate the whole menu... but when I walk up to order my mouth instantly says "16 oz NITRO COLD BREW!" It's just so good!Recently, a friend of mine treated me to some of their avocado toasts. They were perfectly warm, crisp, and delicious. I really liked the lox and some of the pickled onions my friend gave to me 🙂

I usually enjoy the coffee, smoothies, and hot chocolate so I can't speak to the food but I imagine it's solid. The prices are reasonable, at least for beverages so far, and the service is almost always friendly and quick. The downstairs is a little sparse and the music is sometimes loud, but upstairs is quiet and incredibly cozy with odd furniture, drapery, and art work. A true student paradise. I'd wonder if they could expand their offerings of drinks and maybe food especially outside the holidays.

As a full time graduate student, nurse, and mom, it can be hard to find a coffee shop to not only get great coffee but to be able to study away from home. What sets Koba apart from the rest is its amazing staff and Adam. Their words of encouragement and positivity during stressful midterm/finals weeks is unmatched. Thank you for not only providing great coffee, food, and a quiet study spot but also being such great humans!

I nearly forgot how much I adore Artifact Coffee! It's a casual, open/roomy spot to socialize with a friend or two during the day. When I housesit for a friend in Hampden, I especially love walking her dog over to Artifact to sit outside and enjoy a cold brew or meet up with others in the neighborhood. The staff is always very friendly and helpful if you don't know what to order! I appreciate their honesty and insight and have never been steered wrong by them :)Outdoor seating is my favorite, but inside is pretty nice too! It's a little dim and feels like you're inside a cabin imo.Coffee is always pretty consistent here! It's not my go-to for specialty coffee, but the atmosphere and food choices make Artifact a great spot to throw some variety in the week. They're great neighbors and a fantastic part of the community!

A little disappointed this time around.I ordered the Brie and ham cheese and a latte. Their coffee hits the spot every time. But I just paid $9 for something a mom makes for her kids lunch. (I mean no offense)And the amount of Brie is very little, at least spread it around.I also waited like, 10min after ordering for “the bread to be toasted”. My sandwich did not see an oven, it’s straight out of the bread bag.Sauce was good, but overall meh. Not worth $9.I’ll continue to come here for coffee, latte was awesome.Update 2/18/24:Coffee is perfect as usual, got the hot honey chicken sandwich which is pretty good. Wish there was a bit more honey or more spice to it but nonetheless it’s good.Owners were quick to the draw to help me figure out what to do about my last order, and I am super appreciative of them.

Super cozy little corner coffee shop! Service was exceptional. We were greeted warmly and given a minute to look over the vast menu. We ordered an English Toffee latte, and a Chai tea. Both were delicious. The coffee is very smooth with the perfect amount of sweetness. The Chai was perfectly balanced and a great balance to the chill fall weather. Try the 3 pack of mini muffins too!! Moist and a delight.

Incredible energy walking into this basement coffee spot, the baristas are super friendly and informative and they also have a good selection of merchandise! (I sprung for a new ceramic pour over cone, they have some unique colors). The courtyard in the back was great, they still don’t do indoor seating. The coffee is nutty and well made, the vanilla syrup is homemade (vanilla beans included)If you’re looking for a cozy cup, this spot will certainly warm you up. This has been on my list to try for a while. I loved the Mocha latte — one of the best coffees I’ve had in Baltimore. I was not a fan of the food (the breakfast sandwich) or the pastry (coconut bread). Maybe it was because it was almost closing time, idk. But I would give it another chance. I do like their variety of food that accommodates lots of dietary restrictions.

This was a terrific spot for breakfast. It's located on a side street, almost with the vibes of an alley, so sitting outside was wonderfully quiet and laid back. Service was attentive - making sure to get all the details right, and even though it's an order-at-the-counter establishment, they happily delivered straggler items to our table outside.Since I was visiting from the west coast, where decent bagels are few and far between, my everything bagel breakfast sandwich was the highlight for me. The eggs were both fluffy, and sturdy enough to hold together when eating.I had time, while my coffee was brewing, to browse the vinyl selection of this café/record store. Combined with the 1970s era rock photos on the walls, this was far and away the most pleasant coffee shop I can recall visiting.
