You can tell that the good people who run this place really care. From the beautiful tiny vases of fresh flowers on every table to the curated, calming music – I'm sitting here now, and some sort of oboe concerto is playing! This place is one of a kind. The coffee is first rate – easily some of the very best in the state — and the specialty drinks are inventive and all delicious, true specialties, not just some generic seasonal syrup add-on. The pastries come from a rotating list of top-tier local bakeries. The decor is fishing themed, which might sound odd for a coffee shop, but it somehow really works! From the sea green wall to the beautiful viga ceiling, it's just a lovely spot to work or read. And the staff is always SO pleasant and kind!

Lovely cafe! The owner studied coffee roasting for 27 years! There is a roasting machine on site.Staff was very nice and helpful. They offer regular coffees (espresso, cappuccino, etc) but also some surprising options as a tonic coffee that was delicious and a caramelized cinnamon coffee that was very good. They have non-dairy milk options which is great but no vegan bites which was disappointing. The bathroom is very clean.

This was an abrupt stop after brunch, and it was definitely worth the visit. The specialized menu included handcrafted coffees, the cortadito was sharp and robust, and the classic breve latte was accentuated by a crafted vanilla and lavender syrup. Our order taker was super friendly and efficient, and the shop was so vibey. Definitely snag a selfie on one of their decorated walls.

Been coming here since around 2020. Great cozy spot to work on things, read a book, or hang out with a coffee in hand. Matt, Josh, Steve and everyone else that works there I've met are all very friendly and kind people. They have a humble and service oriented attitude shown through how they carry themselves and their actions. I believe they have been able to create a great community space centered around coffee where everyone feels welcome. Coffee is among the best in the city. When they switched from their old provider into roasting their own coffee (I think a year or more back) their coffee was just as great.

My coworkers and I have been going to Castle for the last 2-3 years because Castle is amazing. They've kept their prices affordable and they have some of the best coffee I've ever had. I usually get the lavender latte. Not to mention, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. If they ever delivered, that would be a dream come true.

Great coffee and atmosphere, delicious gluten free pastries and even sweeter service. I had the best morning visit and latte yesterday and left my bag by mistake. I was able to get in touch with a staff member during off hours and retrieve it the next day when the store was closed. Josh even sent me home with a drink in hand. The baristas are incredibly friendly and have successfully crafted a welcoming community focused environment. Everyone is greeted with kindness and treated as a friend and regular. Such a wonderful environment and a model for what a third space should be like. One critique would be the lack of space since many people seem to come to work on their laptops here.

This place is incredible. Delicious coffee and donuts, caring people, warm atmosphere. The owner saw a homeless, mentally unstable individual come in and his response was compassionate and kind.
Lovely little corner coffee shop tucked away on the northwest end of downtown. The ambience is very comfortable. It was neither overcrowded, nor empty. The staff are super friendly and ask your name as well as introduce themselves. The coffee is first rate too. I may have found a new hangout spot since my beloved bud and beans closed

Tried Little Bear Coffee for the first time yesterday. Decided to go for a cruise and came across this coffee shop. I was greeted and the gentleman that helped me recommended the LB Latte . I got it iced and it was so good. Today I stop there instead of my usual Starbucks stop . Ordered the same thing and a donut and their donuts are so delicious. I accidentally forgot to say iced and they remade my drink for me. They quickly got it remade w an awesome attitude. I’m glad I went for a cruise yesterday this place is my new spot plus they sell plants which is amazing. Prices are reasonable and they have a punch card for your visits amazing.

I so wanted to have this be an amazing review. But I just can't do that. I went in, and their menu was very limited, and the coffee was very small in size. They did have some very interesting knicknacks. And I did enjoy looking at those. I even bought a small cactus. The atmosphere though beautiful and inviting, felt like if you got more than 15 people in there, it would turn very loud and overwhelming It just honestly wasn't what I was hoping for they also, as many places do, they give you a station so does you can add your cream and sugar. However, I equat that with a large chain instead of a mom and pop coffee shop. Please understand that I am not comparing to this or Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. I'm comparing this to other local places that may or may not still be in business

My husband and I love this place. We come here to study, and while it is busy and bustling and noisy, it's a lovely environment. The dining area is well-lit with plenty of natural lighting from the wall height windows and doors surrounding the space. Light-colored wood tabletops and benches, potted plants in room corners or on shelves, all mixed with industrial metal and concrete elements make it thoroughly stylish. Oh, and the coffee and tea is wonderful. I hope they make all the money and stay open forever. 🩷

Very tiny cafe with limited seating inside and very little space to maneuver. I like the pastries better than the coffees. Was disappointed with the milk foam. My coffee making skills might be rusty but the foam texture was not right. It’s just hot milk. We got the nutcracker from the holiday menu and Jack rabbit. Nutcracker was overwhelmed by the almond flavor. Jack Rabbit was sweet with lavender aftertaste, not sophisticated or flavorful. The outdoor seating is actually the courtyard of the plaza shared by many stores. It’s nice and cute. Service was ok. The cashier took my order was friendly. I was told to wait a sec for our pastries. Then was asked to move away from the register by another person. It was a bit confusing for us firs-timer where to wait. Not the best experience I was hoping but it could just be not my day.

The coffee was great. They really know what they're doing and I love that you can look at the beans and smell them, as well as read about them before buying. I was nerding out so hard about that. The latte I got was delicious. The food was average. Not bad but not amazing. There wasn't enough seating so I had to go sit in my car to eat my breakfast because it wasn't warm enough for outdoor seating, but when I looked around there were only maybe 5 parties total so not a lot of people, there's just not a lot of dine in seating space. I would have given 5 stars if I was able to find seating inside.

This is a fantastic coffee shop. Attention to detail is forefront, as is great customer service. We got a C&T and a CB&H, and they were both brilliant. The pride taken to assure a premium product, with most ingredients made in-house, is noticed and appreciated. This is a coffee lover's coffee shop, while still being accessible to all. Responsiveness and service at the counter was poor on our most recent visit. In the past, coffee quality had also been better. The coffee is always good but I am pretty disappointed in the service. I ordered a simple americano and despite standing at the pick up line for 15 minutes, everyone else (who ordered at least 2-3 people behind me) got their complicated lattes and machas. Staff didn’t seem to care that they completely forgot about my coffee and hurriedly made it when I ask about it; mumbling an insincere apology.

Atmosphere was great. Lovely building with a good amount of seating.Drinks on the other hand were very bland. I had a lavender latte and beside the few drop of lavender buds floating on top I would not have know it was a lavender latte. Great service and charming atmosphere. Charging outlets available — thank goodness. The coffee and the vegan options were incredible — if you want vegan baked goods, try to go in the afternoon, as they may not be available early in the morning.

Happened to be downtown having some work done near by and the shop recommended Zendo while we were waiting. What a recommendation!! We had an iced cafe con leche that they should offer in a Big Gulp size!!! I’d order two, one for there and one to go. We also had the Aztec … cinnamon and chile with just the right bite!! Awesome patio seating in the back, great customer service … will definitely be back!

I had the Turkish latte and it was on point. Good latte art too. It's a little small and hot when the sun comes inside. What could be very nice on a winter day. I would come back for sure. The barista was quite courteous as well.

While kicking around downtown I bumped into Zendo. "I think I've heard of this place" I muttered to my friend. Having now had the good luck to enjoy Zendo, I expect to spend more time finding reasons to go there. The staff were exceptionally friendly, guiding patrons through different options and making suggestions when asked. The prices were very reasonable and the drinks themselves were magnificent. The atmosphere is very casual, light background noise and a bright communal area is friendly and inviting. They also have a shared, partially covered patio hidden away behind the storefront. Protected from street visibility it is shared with Sidetrack brewing nextdoor. This patio is a gem with ample storage and both fans and heaters above. This is truly a great coffee spot hidden away in a slightly odd, off downtown location. The parking is generally easy, depending on when you visit, but it is all street parking. They also sell a selection of pastries and burritos, I believe, but I cannot attest to them as I did not partake.Swing by, grab a cup of someone delicious, enjoy the patio and start thinking about your next trip in. I know I am.
