I am not a big coffee person but I let my coffee friends pick out this for me… I have to say its a nice machine.. I like that it grinds the beans to what your making.. And that anything you want to do with it is relatively simple and automated.. Cleanup is also quite easy compared to a normal coffee maker.. Just tab the little handle thing over the garbage and do a quick wipe on it and your done..

I got this for Christmas 2024. It is a beautiful machine, compact enough to be on the coffee bar upstairs in my home. Makes a bit of noise but not enough to scare the cats. The frother though has the dog running to it thinking he hears a whip cream can, lol.I was intimidated at first with the instructions, but after 2 days… I am good with making cappuccino.I would have liked the bean hopper a bit larger though.I will recommend if you have hard water to have a zero water or brita pitcher to filter water for the machine.

Only two days to dial it in for perfect espresso!
Dec 12: It took two days to dial my ninja into making my espresso exactly as I like it. For me, this ninja machine makes perfect espresso. I use Starbucks espresso beans and ninja recommended three different grinds settling in on a grind of 10 yesterday, which turns out to be perfect to say nothing of well it steams the milk.Dec 10: I received my Ninja last night, and the attempted to dial it in. Using Starbucks espresso beans, the espresso seems a little too strong. Last night, the recommended bean grind was 12, but this morning the recommended was 10. I will continue to tweak it. Overall, this machine is great!

Great Espresso Machine
Overall, the build quality is great for the price point. I had an old Breville that was great, but I gave it to my sister and figured this would be an upgrade. It mostly is because it can froth the milk really well for you as opposed to my Breville machine that I had be a barista to really get good froth milk. The largest complaint I have is just the quality of the milk steam stem. The milk really sticks to it from the material of the steamer, and my Breville never had this problem because of the material they use.Besides that, straight forward and great. I think the newest Breville at double the price would be better, but it’s also double the price…

This machine is phenomenal.
Truth be told, my son and daughter-in-law talked me into this machine. I like a great cup of coffee and had a less expensive, but still pricey, Ninja coffee maker. We all watched a YouTube video about this machine. Afterwards, I bought them one as a Christmas present. Then a month later, I decided to get one for me. It is very intuitive and easy to use. Cleaning is a snap. Operation is very smooth, as is the espresso it makes. It makes an incredible cup of regular coffee too. It’s a bit pricey, but I’ve seen less functional models for 10 times the price. I have had it several months and I am very pleased with it. (And so far, my daughter-in-law and son.) Great buy.

This is the best purchase I’ve made in a long time!! I bought this for my husband for Christmas. In the past my husband owned and ran his own coffee shop so I was skeptical. He LOVES it!! It is very intelligent and the quality of the coffee amazing. The frothing works super good!! I love Oatmilk and this thing froths non dairy milks wonderfully! So I wanted to get an espresso machine so my wife did not go to Starbucks as much she still goes to Starbucks however she really loves this espresso machine. I had friends that were getting into espresso machines however there’s a lot of Wayne there’s a lot to it. This one takes all of the Difficulty out of it. If you just want to have an espresso and not do all the research and work into it this sure does that. I like that all the pieces are incorporated in the machine so that I can use them and then put them back and they’re always there tank last quite a while. I’m surprised You have to remember to empty the tray. It does put water in the tray every time as it’s doing something, I love the steamer. I use the hot steam the cold steam I like bullet coffee, so I will put heavy cream with butter or tallow and it’ll steam that up or even just the coffee with the butter or tallow it will froth that Really cool machine. I’m glad I bought it.

Entry level mastery
As long as you understand who this machine appeals to, it will nail its target audience perfectly. This is a machine that is designed for people who are new to espresso and creating more complex coffee drinks, but are not really sure about what they’re doing. The machine does a lot of the hard work for the average person. With a lot of the processes, fully automated, and a lot of the worry about how to get the measurements just right are taken care of. It is worth noting that a lot of the machines components are very proprietary, making it not the most flexible machine in terms of longevity or if you want to expand your espresso game, however, if you are the type of person that just wants to experience espresso on a regular basis, this is the machine for you. It is an affordable price point for what it is. If you want to really get deeper into the hobby, you probably want to start somewhere else with a more flexible machine and individual components for handling each individual step. This machine does all of it in one and is pretty hard set in its ways, which is ideal for somebody that just wants it for casual drinks.

WOW! This is a fantastic coffee machine!!
I’ve been researching barista/espresso machines for a few months, and I happened upon this model. I instantly knew I wanted this brand/model. It is so easy to use, is automatic and logical in the process and it makes a great cup of coffee. It makes a variety of different coffees and even makes a cold brew. And best of all, it’s easy to use!! I had used pods because they were quick and easy, but that means accepting a mundane cup of coffee. I’m no expert barista, far from it; and the other machines required more advanced skills and are far more expensive. This amazing little machine is computerized and leads you in every step. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, makes a delicious cup of coffee; and I can’t say enough wonderful things about it. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

We are by no means coffee specialist. But we are daily drinkers. After spending money everyday at ⭐️bucks for over a year. We finally found a machine that would meet all our needs. Had good reviews, good price, sleek look, with most features automated.The espresso grinder works perfectly and allows for adjustment if needed. The holder can take about 1 lb of beans.The brew time for espresso is about 30 seconds on a double shot, and 40 seconds on a quad shot.It is does have some sound, as expected, but not loud enough to wake our children.Size is as described.No defects so far and super happy. Even better now looking at our bank account.

Messy, Beginner Friendly, Actually Good Espresso – BETTER THAN BREVILLE
I gotta say, I love this espresso machine! My wife originally got me a Breville, but I could never get the settings right on that thing. It was way too much work trying to figure it all out. Thankfully, it was still within the return policy, so I decided to give this one a try.On my third attempt, I finally got the perfect espresso. The machine just calculates everything for you, which makes it super easy. The espresso actually tastes good! Plus, the cold brew and cold press options are awesome. I’m not a big coffee expert or anything, so I can’t claim it’s the best cup ever. But it’s definitely better than all the mistakes I was making with the Breville.In the end, I just want a really good cup of coffee in the morning without too much hassle, and this machine totally delivers on that!Side note, it’s really messy. When doing bigger grinds, for whatever reason, that thing spills everywhere!

Breville Who?
This product is totally worth the review. I worked for Starbucks for five years so I have an understanding of the art of coffee making. Although Starbucks, espresso machines are a bit different than these, It’s just as easy to use if not better! The quality of the espresso is a lot better than any Coffee shop I’ve been to. It is a little bit time-consuming but i’m at home so not a huge deal.I’ve taken the time to use this machine over and over again just to break it in. I wanted to test the machine to its max to see what it’s capable of. It did not disappoint!!! However, I did stumble upon a problem. As I was grinding a regular pour over coffee, the grinder got stuck with coffee grounds. So when adjusting the grind size, it felt a little hard to adjust. But all I had to do was Grind coffee again, so it would release the grounds. I’d like to believe that the grinder chamber is a little small which may be the reason the grounds didn’t have enough room. So hopefully they’ll work on that. It may not seem to be a huge problem to most, but it is some thing to be aware of. I didn’t think this was necessary, but I also restarted the machine. All in all, it’s worth your money and definitely pays itself off!!

Better alternative to the Breville for those not wanting the complexity of it. Lots of features and the coffee tastes like the real deal. Cold brew is actually really good and not watered down like I would expect. Not sure about longevity but warranty claims seem to be good with Ninja if you wait to register the product when you actually have a problem.

Our favorite Machine
The most user friendly machine. We’ve tried most of the high end espresso machines in the past couple of years and this is the most functional. It has unfortunately shown some wear already (purchased about two months ago) although we do use it multiple times a day. Great for lattes, and Americanos (you do have to separately boil water). Drip coffee is good but good be better. We use it for lattes mostly though so it’s great for us. Would repurchase instantly if broke.

I’ve been waiting months to buy this machine and was finally able to get it as a Christmas gift to myself.I favor the espresso drinks from coffee shops over regular brewed coffee and had bought a smaller espresso machine the year before. While it wasn’t “hard” to use, it’s wasn’t quite as easy to get the hang of. This Ninja Espresso Machine literally does all the work for you. No guessing. No reading the manual for months trying to remember how to use it. It literally tells you.I’ve seen other reviews complaining about the funnel breaking. I’m not sure how that’s happening, but mine hasn’t broken yet and seems to be pretty solid (not flimsy). I was hoping to order a replacement funnel just in case, but they don’t seem to be available yet. Either way, if you’re on the fence, buy this machine. Best decision I’ve made this year. lol

Worth every penny!! This is by far the best machine you can get for your money. If you are not a professional in making coffee and you get your daily fix at starbucks, do yourself a favor and invest in this instead. So easy to use and the results are amazing. I recreate Starbucks drinks on the daily and the only investment you make is the initial Ninja luxe, syrups and good coffee. If you break down your numbers you will see it makes so much more sense. I promise you, you will get a pro in no time.Cleaning is easy too, just a few parts to take care of. You get a booklet that explains step by step all the set up and has awesome recipes too.I have not used the frother in my video since I ran out of milk, but it makes cold foam, thick froth and like a latte froth and you have the option to choose if you are using dairy or plant based milk. Froth turns out amazing every single time.Cold brew option is pretty good, not original cold brew good but for recreation of iced coffee drinks it tastes great and you wouldn’t be able to taste the difference.If you are new to brewing your own espresso, the Ninja takes out all the guesswork and weighting and pressure and temping etc out of the equation. It automatically adjust the grind suggestion based in the coffee you choose, beans, weights the amount of grinded beans and pulls an excellent shot every time. I thought I had good coffee before but tasting it now proved me wrong. Use coffee from a local roaster or make sure the beans are not older than 3m for the perfect result. I use the Lavazza crema and have been getting good results but prefer beans from local roaster since they are the freshest.Don’t doubt it and get yourself a Ninja Luxe you won’t regret it!

Worth the HYPE
Honestly the best splurge purchase I have ever made. I have used a Keurig and a Nespresso in the past, and this machine is so much better. I use the Starbucks coffee beans and it tastes better than actually going to Starbucks. I wake up happy in the morning, knowing I get to pour myself a fresh espresso shot.This is the only coffee machine I know in this price range that makes better espresso than the ones I had across Europe.Also I need to mention that this machine was designed to be super easy to clean, and it shows!I have had the machine for a little over a month now and I have no complaints

Easy peasy & versatile!
Just received my new machine & was sipping my first latte within 30 minutes. Set up was easy, instructions were clear and I couldn’t be happier. I needed a machine that would brew espresso, coffee and cold brew and that was short enough to fit under my 15.5” cupboards. It’s surprisingly hard to find all of those options in one product, especially at this price point. I’ll be back to share more thoughts after using it a couple of months!

Amazing espresso machine!
I’m fairly particular when it comes to espresso and brewed coffee. I had a super automatic Philips Saeco machine for the past couple of years, but it was a lot of upkeep. Brands like Breville, De’Longhi, Cuisinart, and KitchenAid had similar machines but all shared the same problem. Finally I found the Cafe Luxe from Ninja. It wasn’t really on my radar because I didn’t initially think the brand was on the same level as the others I had looked at. However after doing some research I went ahead and bought it. For the price it’s an amazing value compared to similar machines. My wife loves that it has steam settings specific for her soy milk and enough room to fit her travel mug under the portafilter. I love how versatile and easy to maintain it is. We’ve been using it for a few weeks now and we’re still impressed with the performance of this machine. Definitely recommend!

This coffee maker is incredibly easy to use. It lets you grind fresh roasted beans and make absolutely amazing coffee. Instead of stopping at my favorite coffee shop every morning, they sell me bags of their beans and I make it fresh at home. LOVE IT!

Awesome!!! I researched several months before pulling the trigger on this one versus the more expensive but similar machines. Glad we chose the Ninja. We love it so far. Makes incredible espresso, hot chocolate, cappuccino,…. You will not be disappointed. So easy to use. No learning curve. Try out a few different beans before forming your opinion. We initially tried the Lavazza and almost returned the machine thinking it was the fault for the bitter brew. We found that Peet’s dark roast espresso was far superior (crema, richness, low acidity) than the popular brands Amazon recommended which were primarily medium roasts. Machine has three temperature settings depending on your preferred roast and strength. Took about 3 cups each before we dialed in our favorite individual brews. Very happy with our decision. Friends and family are all now contemplating buying one.

No buyers remorse here! This coffee machine is fantastic. This machine is super user friendly. I was nervous to set it up at first but there is a great video available via a QR code that walks you right through it. Lattes, cappuccino, drip coffee- all wonderful!

Great machine for the novice.
The Luxe Cafe is built well and works well. Our normal coffee is classic rich with a cappuccino mid morning. The suggested find for espresso works great and usually takes 2 grind to get espresso right. No measuring coffee beans and the ground. I’m the person the Luxe Cafe is meant for.The only dig I have is the portafilter is difficult to install. To fix this is use a lubricant (avocado oil) on the top rim of portafilter once a day.

I’m really enjoying the product! It’s not too difficult to use once the grinder is set up properly. I’ve only been using it for a few hours, so I still have a bit to learn, but the first cup of coffee turned out excellent.One concern I have is regarding the packaging from Amazon; it arrived in the Ninja box without any additional protective packaging. Considering the total cost is over $600 with tax, I was a bit disappointed to find two bumps on the unit. I hope this can be addressed.Amazon must prioritize meticulous packing practices to ensure every item is handled with the utmost care.

Great all-in-one machine for those want the espresso/latte experience without the fuss
I am very pleased with the Ninja Luxe Cafe. I had purchased an expensive Espresso / Latte machine which looks fabulous but ended up a being a major pain to clean. It’s a feature that often gets overlooked in the reviews. I have used other Ninja products and they have always met my expectations or more. I use the Ninja coffee machine for my daily coffee. It works great. But I have a weakness for lattes, especially on weekends. It’s my reward if I have been a good boy during the week. I am working on a book and traipsing over to Starbucks for my weekend fix was a bit much. And was also getting tired of shelling out $5+ for a latte. This is a well designed all-in-one machine. It grinds the beans, makes the espresso, and does a great job with the foam (also a must for me). The getting started videos are excellent and I was up and running quickly. The cleaning and maintenance is what makes the difference for me. What about the latte itself? There is no noticeable difference, at least for me, with a Latte from Starbucks. I also get some consistency, unlike at Starbucks depending on the store and the barrista. I am not an espresso connoiseur and I don’t have endless amount of time to waste to work on the “best” espresso. For me, good enough is good enough. The machine also does a lot more, but for what I need this is a great machine and a winner. Highly recommend.

Best coffee machine we’ve tried!
My husband and I are ecstatic and completely over the moon with this purchase. We LOVE coffee. We love cold brew and espresso and lattes and sometimes just drip coffee. We drink it throughout the day. This machine does it ALL and it’s so easy to learn! Ninja has YouTube videos on everything. I tried another machine repeatedly, just trying to learn how to make espresso. This machine takes all the guess work out of it and makes a perfect cup each time. We have joked about naming this machine, giving it a seat at the kitchen table and opening up a bank account for it because it’s a member of our family at this point. My husband says it’s the best thing we’ve bought in a long time. We LOVE it!!

I love this machine!
I love this so much. I was very skeptical since it was ninja’s first espresso machine, but I am VERY pleasantly surprised! I love it so much! Makes the perfect espresso and drinks. You do have to watch out because the bottom tray does need to be emptied after every couple uses or it leaks. Would be nice to have a warning of some sort for that but other than that, I love this thing!

I admit that once upon a time, I chased the dragon. I owned progressively more expensive grinders and espresso machines and pour-over machines…at some point, I gave up chasing fantasies and bought the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier. I don’t give five star reviews unless something changes my life.My friends, welcome to a five star review of the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier.Every day, I awaken at 5am to get ready for my day. One of the very first things I do is make my first double-shot oat milk latte. Not every day, but often, a second cup comes around 9am. If I was paying someone, I’d be broke, and if I was doing what I used to, that would be 30 minutes. Now, it’s ensuring there’s water in the reservoir, beans in the hopper, and the pitcher filled with oat milk and in place in the foaming station. Then I push one button to get a perfect 18g of beans ground at the optimal setting per the system’s brains – I do have to WDT, level, and tamp, as well as putting the portafilter in the unit. Then I push two buttons and walk away. A short three minutes or so later, I return to a perfectly pulled double-shot and perfectly foamed oat milk. All I have to do is assemble. While there have been a few times where I forgot to put the glass under the portafilter, this is otherwise so easy you can do it sleepwalking.So, now I get my one to two cups of coffee a day, at least as good as I’ll get at the drive through run by teenagers with FAR too much energy for 5am, and while it wasn’t cheap, if I simply add up all the cups I’ve had since I got it, it’s saved me money already.Good coffee requiring barely any brains for well under $600 is a steal. SO much so that many more influential reviewers have indicated it’s a shot across the bow of high-priced semi-automatic espresso machines. For 66% of the price of the least expensive alternative semi-automatic machines, the Ninja Luxe Cafe simply smokes the competition. And if you don’t believe me, go research it. You’ll find even James Hoffman grudgingly admires this machine.Simply put, coffee shop quality espresso drinks, requiring very little effort, making the indulgence less indulgent? Yes, please. I smile every damn day when I get my coffee!

Incredible espresso with newbie friendly design
I’ve been looking at espresso machines for a few years as I enjoy an espresso, latte, or cappuccino but didn’t want to spend nearly $1000 on a good machine plus accessories. So I’ve stuck with Dutch Bros and local spots waiting for a day I would just commit to a pricey setup.Well, I’m glad I waited! This is the machine I’ve been wanting. This takes all the guesswork out and easily guides you through making a great espresso.The grinder works very well for a built in model and is easily adjustable on the side of the unit. Cleaning the grinder and swapping beans isn’t much of a hassle as the parts unlock and come apart easily for access.The portafilter is sturdy with a nice heft. The unit comes with a standard double espresso basket and a “Luxe” quad shot basket that can be used for drip coffee or cold brew. They pop in and out of the portafilter without much work.The machine can tell which type of filter you have and adjust the available brew options when you install the portafilter into the group head. You can adjust OZ size for drip and cold brew coffees.The froth station is great with a nice metal jug. It can accommodate dairy based and plant based milks to give you some nice versatility. The auto purge wand is great for keeping the wand clean and clog free.There’s lots of nice touches too. The machine will prompt you when the group head needs to be rinsed of the machine needs a full clean. There’s a little side storage area for the unused basket and cleaning tools.Overall, I’m really loving this machine. We got it Sunday and have already made multiple styles of drinks with 3 different beans to test the grinder and brew options. As a complete novice, this automated machine had us making lattes better than we’ve had at most coffee joints.The biggest surprise we’ve had was the cold brew, cold foam, and cold press options. It had a legit low temperature brew that was smooth along side a thick and creamy cold foam and blew us away.Not to be outdone, we tested the cold press espresso option. This is recommended for things like cocktails, so we made an Espresso Martini with Costco french vodka and some Blackpot Stills coffee liqueur. It was fantastic after dinner.The biggest downsides is that a lot of the machine has plastic parts, wish more was metal. It still feels sturdy and good, but all metal would’ve been great. The other is that it takes a little working with to dispense hot water alone for something like an americano. It can be done, but it isn’t as obvious as all the other offerings on the machine, so a bit of an oversight.So if you’re a newbie that has been intimidated by other higher end offerings or maybe you’ve just been waiting for a great all-in-one espresso machine, well, the time has arrived!

It will turn any beans into espresso/cappuccino/latte, so I can finally get a decaf latte that doesn’t taste burned using beans from my favorite local coffee roaster! The prompts on the machine are clear and easy to follow, and it really does keep everything together neatly and compactly. My only complaint has to do with making multiple drinks – you can queue the milk frother to start right away when the brew finishes, but you can only do one function at a time so I have to wait for the brew to finish before the frother can start, and for the frother to finish before I can grind and brew again. In spite of this, I make two lattes every morning and more on weekends. This machine is the centerpiece of our kitchen.You also have to pay attention to the drip tray; it needs to be emptied somewhat frequently, but is the only thing that doesn’t have automation or an audible/light up alarm – there’s a little orange float that pops up in the corner to let you know you need to empty it.I would definitely buy this again, but I’m hoping to see a slightly upgraded version that will support multiple functions at once.

Not as difficult as it looks
Let me tell you this little machine is great. I thought it would take a lot to learn to use but it was so simple. The coffee taste nice and fresh daily. I love making the cold foam. The design is stylish and doesn’t take up a lot of room. Seems very well built and good quality. Now you do get a little coffee ground from compacting and moving over but nothing major just a quick wipe and they’re gone. Highly recommend

This thing is a beast! The only limitation to the coffee and espresso drinks you can make is what you can imagine. In addition to the many selections in the recipe book we have discovered many of our own recipes by trial and error. This machine is well built and while we are not batistas I would say this is true commercial quality. It’s also extremely easy to clean and maintain. Be sure to only use freshly roasted beans (we buy beans 10 days or less roasted). Frother is amazing and will achieve any thickness touch desire. Highly recommend this over ANY higher priced competitor!

Super easy to use
This machine is so easy to use and has a little book that comes with to learn how to make all the best coffee shop drinks. I love making my daily cold brew, it’s so fresh! Also love the frother for cold or hot topping. I have been looking for an espresso machine for year and so glad I waited for this one.

AMAZING
This has to be, by far the best Espresso/coffee maker I ever owned. It is a high-quality product that takes all of the guesswork out of making Espresso. It self-adjusts to the age and quality of your beans and tells you what grind size to use and weighs and grinds the exact amount. With the use of the funnel and tamper Espresso is just about foolproof. They say to use the quad cup and one of the coffee settings to make regular coffee but I cheat and use the regular cup and brew a double shot of espresso and then, without removing the porta filter (still using the same coffee) I set the machine to 6 oz of rich coffee. The end result is the best cup of coffee I have ever had and I’m not even using quality beans yet. The steam wand has 4 settings and I only used the Cappuccino setting and the results were totally amazing and I didn’t have to hold it at a certain angle or anything like that. Between the spinning whisk at the bottom of the cup and the steam wand there is no guesswork involved. After steaming the milk I wiped off the outside of the wand and it self purges/cleans itself once you put it back in place. The only negative that I have heard about it is that there is no setting for hot water. East enough though. Just put a cup under the brew head and set the machine up for coffee. I could go on forever about this. THIS IS A MUST HAVE!!

I tried another brand, but could not get a decent cup of espresso OR froth. Sent it back and bought this based on reviews. 1st cup was a winner and all subsequent. I don’t have to worry aout the weight; the macine does it. The froth was what I see on YT but never could get it to work. LOVE this machine. Just hope it lasts for the money.

Beauty of a Beast
I am very impressed with this Ninja Luxe Expresso Machine. I am very new to making Expressos but have loved various lattes and cappuccinos for many years. I bought two different entry level machines and all the components such as tampers and scales. I wanted to learn to make a good expresso. Neither machine fit the bill for me. The Ninja Luxe is a beast. It’s almost totally automatic. It will grind from the hopper and weigh the shot you are requesting. It will make single, double, drip or cold press. The frother is automatic or manual if you prefer but I don’t know why you would. I highly recommend this machine.

Wow, just wow! This thing is legit. My wife and I were in the market to buy a home espresso machine. Our “meet cute” was this: I was a barista, and she was the cute girl that I would do hearts in her lattes.Anyway, I wanted something that was user friendly enough that we could both enjoy it, while still maintaining a good quality of drinks. She didn’t want to learn all of the little details that are required to pull a good shot. Totally understandable. It can be frustrating chasing the perfect grind. Needless to say, this was perfectly dialed in after 3 shots of calibration. I love the fact that you can still manually hand steam, but the automatic steaming does a really nice job overall.Highly recommend for anyone wanting cafe quality drinks at home. Great value, good job with brew temperature, and low noise make this a no brainer.
