Makes Great Coffee, Easy to Use, Cleaning and Hygiene Improvements
I had owned a previous version of this machine and Jura have made great strides in providing more beverage choices (such as the popular ‘flat white’) and in the ease of cleaning and maintenance. We especially appreciate the new milk cleaning functions. These machines have always made great coffee now they have added new functionality and maintenance improvements.

Overall great with some improvement opportunities
If you’re like me and wanted the option to make milk based drinks, but make at least 80% not milk based, I think you will really like this. It’s easy to make nicely prepared Americanos and “coffee.”My two main gripes are:The bean hopper doesn’t reliably feed the beans into the grinder. The slope down into the grinder needs to be steeper or a more slippery surface perhaps. It doesn’t hold tons of beans as it is, so I suspect that’s why there isn’t more slope to it.The potentially larger issue if you make a lot of milk drinks is that the spout is so far to the side, you WILL get milk splattering all around the machine. I use a mat underneath the machine, but it requires more frequent cleaning due to the milk splatter. I can’t imagine wanting to deal with that if I had daily milk drinks made in my house.

Worth Every Penny!!
We love it, 6 monthly later! We were visiting a friend who had one. We were blown away on how great the coffee was. We laughed at them for spending so much on a coffee maker…until we added up how much we pay for Nespresso pods. So, we bought a cheaper make, coffee was not great. We returned that one an purchased our E8. Now, I make my coffee at home and take it with me to work every single day. It works great and we are saving $ not going out for coffee anymore. I love coffee black, but the lattes and cappuccinos are awesome! I highly recommend. It could be a bit quieter and we are trying to figure out how to hook up a water supply, but not a problem. Looks cool too, my wife does not like appliances on the countertops, but this one definately has a spot.

Well worth the money!
This is our second Jura E8. First one lasted 21 years. Well worth the money. Use a good coffee bean and you can’t beat it.

Great machine
Love my Jura! Love it more than my countertop Miele!! The Jura beats the Miele on ease of use, cleaning, larger used ground vessel and taste! The Jura flavor is smoother than the Miele. My family loves the variety of drinks. Because of this, the Jura is at our lake home where everyone can enjoy it. I look forward to staying at the lake even more now lol

Absolutely wonderful machine, expensive to maintain
I bought my first espresso machine at Starbucks in the early 1990’s. Its cost $350 and I loved it. Since then we have owned 4 machines. They have cost between one and two thousand. When the last one, died after three years we went for an upgrade.I love this machine. It is easy to use, the prompts excellent. The coffee is unbelievable. I will no longer get a flat white out, and I live in the Pacific NW!You need to be aware that the costs to maintain the machine are expensive. The daily milk cleaning solution is about $30 and lasts a month. It prompts me to change the filter once a month at a cost of $25. This combined with the various tablets for cleaning and descaling (I use these in the water container) aren’t inexpensive. I bought the largest quantities I could.Would I buy it again? ABSOLUTELY!!! Just be aware that the operating costs add up. I did buy a cheaper filter which said it was Jura but it leaked and I changed it. The more expensive Jura filters are terrific! We buy our coffee through Amazon delivery. BE AWARE!!! I ruined a machine using Starbucks coffee. It was too oily. We now use only Italian coffee.I hope this helps you!

Best customer support anywhere.
I own a jura impressa a9 and even though it just 18 years old I want something with larger capacity. Two years ago I sent my a9 in for repair, jura paid shipping both ways and charged me standard after warranty charge $250. If I sell it or give it away that person would pay the same. Or I could trade it in for some of current jura models, but I want the e8. If you think Jura is expensive think again.

Highly recommend
Absolutely love this coffee machine. I don’t know how I managed without it all these years. Brews a perfect cup of coffee and has lots of different preprogrammed options to select from. I certainly drink more coffee now than ever before.

Awesome coffee maker
I just love this machine. It does more than I need it to. The coffee grinder grinds the beans and can be set for the strength of coffee you like. The volume can be changed while you are making it, which is a plus if you want more or less coffee. Years ago, I had a different model of this machine and I loved it then as well.

Jura E 8
I love this machine. It replaced a Saeco cappuccino machine that I really liked, and my Saeco broke down after 3 years. It was still under extended warranty, so I packaged it up and sent it to company, who also paid all shipping charges. They said it couldn’t be fixed. They refunded my full costs.I researched all the cappuccino machines, and decided on the Jura E8.I totally love this machine, easy to operate, and maintenance is a dream…the screen tells you exactly when and what to do.No removable brewing unit to descale manually ever. The intuitive machine does it automatically.I recommend the extended warranty, for peace of mind, if for no other reason.

E8 Requires a Relationship With the Machine, But Great Coffee!
Let me start by saying we’ve had several coffee machines, fully automatic, semi automatic, etc. This machine is by far the best! It is truly automatic in every way, makes great coffee, and is easy to maintain. That said, you have to literally form a daily relationship with this machine for it to work right and to keep it hygienic (which I love). You must clean the milk frother and tube everyday with tiny cleaning beads that last about a month. Once you get the hang of this, it becomes part of the daily ritual to “put the machine to bed” at the end of the day. Water tank is large, drip tray is easy to dump and grinds are neatly discarded in the puck tray. One thing I notice with our machine is excess grinds are left behind in the machine behind the drip tray. This seems like a design flaw, but doesn’t effect the espresso in any way. I also like that my coffee drinks are hotter than other machines we have owned in the past. In summary:PROs:-Easy to use and navigate-Makes a variety of great coffee drinks-versatile, takes beans or pre-ground coffee-large capacity water, drip tray and used grounds-Not crazy loud like other machines (but not silent either!)-Makes hot (not tepid) coffeeCONs:-Requires daily maintenance, but come on…milk gets gross real quick. Only takes 5 mins for daily cleaning, so not that bad, really.-Can get pricey with milk beads, cleaning tablets and water filters. Cheaper on Amazon!Bottom line: after five months of use, I would totally buy this machine again! It’s already paid for itself since we no longer go to Starbucks for overpriced, mediocre drinks any longer! Starbucks is now dead to us! 😂

A great high-end super automatic coffee maker
This is my second Jura coffee maker. The quality is good and the machines last. My last one was 8 years old and used almost every day. They are not cheap, but are worth the money.
