6 shots, not 6 cups
At first I was surprised by how small this is because I thought it was a six cup capacity. But it actually makes six of what we call “shots” of espresso here in the U.S. So we’re able to make six Americanos (espresso + hot water) out of one pot and the taste is great. There is no bitterness at all. Easy to use, easy to clean and it doesn’t take up very much space. We almost spent thousands on a fancy espresso machine that would have been in the way and probably broken down in a few years as everything seems to do now. This takes a few minutes longer to use, but it’s so much more economical and reliable.

This is the BEST quality I have ever owned in a expresso maker.
Got every penny’s worth of value in this nicely made unit. And same day shipping too!I’ll have to remember Godmorn brand name.Would gladly buy more of their products.

Good pot
For the money makes as good a pot as the more expensive ones. Doesn’t leak. Sets up nice, washes well and even included an extra washer!
Jacque –
It’s simple to use.
Easy to clean, makes consistent coffee if you use a regular grind , not espresso grind. If coffee grind is too fine it will plug the mesh and nothing or very little coffe will come out. It may even explode. It’s not the coffee maker’s fault, it’s the person who doesn’t know or doesn’t read simple instructions. Edges are thin SO ONE MUST USE CARE WHEN UNSCREWING. I’ve used a rubber jar lid opener. If you cut yourself it’s your fault. I have 2 of these and just ordered a third. They are so simple even a republican should be able to master it. None on people !!!!

Works great, but cleaning is not easiest thing to do.
This just works! Brew strong and mild coffee. Cleaning is not easiest task. If you have steel straw cleaner, that will do.

Good, inexpensive pot.
I bought this when my original order of a Bialetti pot never arrived. I’m glad it didn’t because this pot is excellent. This pot is easy to use and easily and quickly brews a large cup of coffee. It even came with a spare silicone gasket for the upper pot. Cleanup is fast and easy and it seems quite sturdy. Another important consideration is that this pot will work on an induction cooktop whereas a Bialetti aluminum pot will not. Overall a good value for the money.

Solid, well put together
I’m new to the moka pot world. Did a lot of research and decided against cheap aluminum versions. This one is steel, and all parts fit together well and it feels like it has some weight to it. I heat over gas stove that has a very small burner. I place the pot only halfway onto the flame to prevent handle from getting too hot. This makes a single cup of “espresso” style coffee only. But it can be very strong if you like. Takes about 5-7 minutes to work and you will need to peek inside to see if it’s done pushing water up. Definitely get this over the aluminum ones which seem to be all the rage lately.

Great quality. Intensify coffee. Espresso shot servings
Used on a daily basis. My husband won’t have his coffee any other way. It really helps intensify the flavor of the coffee. We were looking for something where he wouldn’t get coffee grounds in his coffee since we use a fine ground, and although this still tends to get a few grounds in the coffee it seems the trick is to let it sit a little off the stove to let the grounds settle to avoid them and not pour the very last bit left.

Makes one large cup.
I like these type of rocket expresso type coffee makers. There is something about the high heat and high pressure brewing that brings out the best in the coffee. It might be called 9 cups of expresso, but for me it’s one large quality cup of coffee.
R. Russo –
Define “6 cups”
This makes a great cup of coffee, but you need to understand that this is not six mugs of coffee. It’s 6 espresso cups

Nice looking, easy to use, and saves me a ton of money!
I wanted to write a review in case my return of this moka-maker was misinterpreted; I also received one as a Christmas gift. With 4 coffee drinkers in the family, we are on a ‘need to work basis’ just to afford pods for our trusty Keurig! 😉 But with my Godmorn Espresso Maker I grind fresh beans (at home or using the stores’ grinder) and easily brew my own expresso. What a treat in so many ways!

Good value
I used a traditional aluminum mokka pot for a year and decided to switch to stainless steel. I chose this pot because I saw a good combination of price and quality. Makes good coffee.

Good coffee takes time
This is my 2nd Moka pot, we replaced the first one because it was aluminum. I love the stainless steel. This Moka pot took a couple of weeks to properly season and give a similar quality coffee to my 1st Moka pot which we loved. I found using a medium heat vs a high heat works best. The top is deceptive in size compared to the bottom water pot. If took me some time to get used to not seeing the top look “full”. Even if the water pot is filled all the way up to the steam valve, when finished, the coffee pot still looks half empty. I can get 2.5 cups of coffee out of this which is perfect for my husband and I.

The mocha pot is awesome. I was worried my drink wasn’t gonna taste like how Starbucks makes it but it does and it’s so good and I’ll save at least 40 bucks a week!!!!

Great quality, easy to use
I bought it as a backup when our automatic espresso machine is in repair. We have induction cooktop. This thing works surprisingly efficient with the it. After a few try, from heat grade 9 all the way to 3, now I figure out the routine to make most flavorful coffee. First turn to 9 only for maybe 2-min, before hearing the water boiling sound, lowered the cooktop heating grade to 3, let it push the coffee out slowly, turn off the cooktop after you hearing the sizzling sound at the end. I clean it in the sink every single time. One thing to be careful is that the bottom piece could be very hot after usage, it is better leave it in the sink to cool it down before touching it.

Just what I was looking for
This coffee pot works like a charm, just following the instructions on cleaning it before use and run 3 sets of water, NO COFFEE, thru it and your ready to go. It handles very fine coffee grounds, I bought Lavazza Kilimanjaro Ground, Medium Roast, 12 Oz Bag. This is good coffee, but ordering Espresso next. Only heads up: This is a small coffee maker – that makes 4 -6 50 ml espresso cups!! not your typical 8 oz american cup of coffee. This is perfect for the quick (7 min start to finish) cup of great coffee to start your morning or pick you up in the afternoon. I would highly recommend it.

Love it
Absolutely love this pot for making espresso. We considered purchasing a cappuccino machine that would do espresso and steam/foam milk all in one but the prices are insane and they just don’t seem to do the job. This is extremely easy to use and the espresso is great. Cleaning it is difficult- if your hand is small enough to reach into the pot to clean it after use the edges are sharp and can cut your hand

Good coffee
I usually use a single cup coffee maker. I wanted to try this one in hopes of finding less sediment in my cup. This expresso maker makes good coffee with less sediment. It only makes about a cup and a half of coffee, but the coffee seems stronger, so I drink less. It seems to extract more of the coffee flavor. Regular Folgers tastes smoother and more flavorful. I got the 9-cup size (box says 10-cup) because I wanted to make sure the base was large enough to work on my induction stove. The base barely touches the minimum diameter marks on my stove, but it works. It only takes 5-7 minutes for my coffee to be ready.

L💗ve it!
Had one decades ago, but it got stored damp and was rusty inside! So glad to have another one & appears to have a coating on the inside that hopefully will help decrease chance of interior rust! The first coffee I made with it was not that tasty, but this type of coffee maker requires seasoning so my 3rd cup was fantastic! Pleasing exterior design as well!

Great Larger Moka Pot
I was on my 4 aluminum moka pot when I found this stainless steel pot. Cost was less than the well know pots and a larger size. Aluminum pittimg has been a problem with my previous pots but this one is great. I can even leave the lid open to watch progress without making a mess! I have recommended it to several people and I love it.

Makes great coffee but worried about the handle
I ditched my old coffee maker for this one and I can definitely taste the difference and it’s easy to use and clean and it looks great inn my kitchen.Just a LITTLE worried about the handle on it tho, it doesn’t feel that secure in the slightest and I feel like in a month or two the slightest bump/movement will knock it off. But best tasting coffee ice has in my home thus far.

Love this little Moka Pot!!
I love this Moka Pot! Use it every morning and it makes great coffee fast. It’s stainless so no concerns with coffee making from an aluminum maker. Only thing that is a bit tricky is screwing on the top piece after putting in the coffee once the water has boiled. Need to turn the top about half a turn to get it to screw in properly. Also I use a towel to hold the hot bottom piece so I can tighten it properly. Instructions say to make 3 pots and don’t drink prior to drinking the fourth. I didn’t see this until my 3rd pot! I’m still here to tell the story! Enjoy!

Update. After 6 months. Meh
Updating after 5 months of use.Rusting and the valve gave away. I’ve had my ikea ones rust. So that’s probably expected. But I’ve never had my ikea valves give away. This did. Can’t use it any more and the return window has closed. Sucks for me. :(I’ve owned the ikea ones for a while now. Had to replace because of rusting. This one here is really good. So much better. No rusting and uses up all the water and the valve actually works!!

Would buy again!
Once you understand the concept and put together the coffee maker is great. Nice for small space and love that it cooks on the stove burner. Save on filters because this one has a reusable filter that is washable. Love the product even bought one for my mom.My mom had a little difficulty learning where the coffee goes but once she understood she loves the maker. It’s great for her one cup of coffees while she hangs out in the morning.

Good little espresso maker, does what it is supposed to do.
There’s not much to say about this, if you have used these before, then you know what it is and what it does. I bought this to take to our cabin when we go, because I love espresso, but do not want a machine there (it is very compact). I have a La Pavoni Europiccola at home, so I am more or less a fan of espresso. This machine does exactly what it is designed to do. I have had many of this style over the years. I find this one heats quickly, blends well in the catch, and cleans up easily. The instructions say not to pack the grind, but I find it does not develop the proper flavor. Packing hard also results in bad flavor from too much pressure. I have found a light pack to be the proper technique. Once I did that, it makes a fine cup of espresso. Is it my La Pavoni? No, nor will any of these type of makers be, but for this style, it makes a good cuppa for the price. Also, it cleans up easily, and includes an extra gasket for the top (which is the first thing to fail on this type every time) so that was a nice little bonus.

Good strong coffee maker for a very reasonable price.
I am on my 3rd Moka Pot, just ordered a 4th one from yet another company – in less than a year. The parts are interchangeable. The problem is the silicon seal. The sieve eventually comes loose. The first pot offered a free replacement after the seal broke after only 6 weeks. The second pot lasted for about 8 months. Now I am using this 3rd one that comes to a boil slightly slower and I am storing a 4th pot, that one with warranty. I love the taste of the coffee made with these pots. So much better than any other (affordable) method. Update: This pot is better than the others. It seals better, the coffee never moves up under the sieve, I have to shake the filter out, can not grab it. This makes a distinct difference I really appreciate and highly recommend. Upgrade now to 5 stars.

Sleek, Stylish & Reliable Moka Pot
I love my Moka Pot! Sometimes these Moka Pots have poor seals and will leak as the coffee pressure bubbles up – but this one has no leaks, is well made, easy to clean and assemble and makes my coffee taste soooo amazing. 10/10 recommend 😜

Very Happy with this Product
My family, composed of coffee wusses, makes coffee with pods. It’s simply not strong enough for me. This little coffee maker makes the perfect coffee in the perfect amount for me. It does it with regular grind coffee. When coffee is strong enough and rich enough to meet my requirements for morning coffee I am satisfied with about 12 ounces of coffee and rarely drink coffee during the rest of the day. This well made little pot makes my mornings bright even when it’s raining.

Great moka pot
This is a great moka pot. I’ve recently gotten into making my own lattes. I’m not expert in espresso drinks but this does make a tasty coffee. I understand it’s not an espresso in the strict sense since it’s not put through a high amount of pressure. It’s easy to use and clean. I have a hot pot ready to go in a few minutes after starting the stove burner. I own a drip machine and french press, but this is my new preferred method for making coffee. I would recommend this to anyone who likes lattes or strong coffee.

I am not useing this to make coffee
You can buy a cannabis infuser, for twice the price, but why? This is the same thing. I have used this now twice to make butter. It works great. I ran the butter through twice, and the desired effects were achieved. The mold has eight marking for pats. My wife and I enjoyed a pat of butter with our biscuit for four days. The effect lasted for two hours or so. I must tell you my wife thinks I smoke to much. I thought she was just complaining, until I hit the limit at the dispensary last month. I guess you call me a heavy user. A pat of this butter was great.

Love my espresso maker
The espresso maker came well packaged. The package had a SS coffee pot, extra washer and instructions on how to use and maintain the pot. The coffee pot itself felt strong and sturdy. Looks like it is made of steel all around. The washers are also strong and do not have the plastic smell. Made and threw out 3 pots of coffee as recommended in the instructions and had no issues. No leaking of steam. Finally made a batch of good coffee, got a strong espresso and enjoyed with milk (usual at our home). Definitely would recommend the product. Do not see any issues as of yet. Will update if I run into any.

Nice little espresso pot.
Only complaint, if you can call it that, is that it is really quiet. Usually these kinds of espresso pots have a gurgling gasp when they are done brewing. This one is silent. I have left it on the hotplate for extended periods, burning the espresso. Really a small complaint, and a warning for anyone that purchases it: you might need to set a timer.

Makes Good Coffee
Went to Italy and really liked these mokka pots there. Ordered this one the day I got back; two pots in tastes like what we had in Italy. For the 9 cup three teaspoons of coffee seems about right and will make two regular coffee cups of liquid with room for cream. That’s about 50 percent more than the 1:1 I use for a drip machine, so the coffee is much stronger. I suspect there will be a lot less waste so the total cost of coffee should be similar. Used Lavazza ground.

Its fantastic
First time ever owning a Moka, and I absolutely love this one. All the others I looked at were small and made from aluminum. I just personally felt something made of stainless steel would likely work better and hold better longer.I had never owned one before so I made sure to look into the how to’s for it since the boyfriend and I were spending way to much money at other locations for coffees with shots of espresso. So I felt it would be best to cup back if we made out own. Now we make Espresso every morning and super happy.Tips at least I learned to pass on to anyone else:I fill up the base with hot water prior, below the valve. I am sure you are saying why heat up water if the Moka will do it for you. Reason being is I want less heat on the coffee, and not burn the grounds since we use ours over a gas stove so we are working with fire. Its probably less of an issue with an electrical on low-meium low. I let it steep and come out a bit more at a steady rate. I feel when it goes through too fast it doesnt collect. I feel doing this improved the flavor by a lot compared to the first two rounds I did not do this. **If you are doing this before having it on the stove, make sure to wrap the base in a towel, or pick up with oven gloves, so when you grab it to move it and screw on the top, you do not burn yourself. It will be HOT**Add a coffee filter to the top of the coffee compartment and the top part that screws in together. Coffee filers I have, the bottom circular part fits this Moka perfectly, so I just cut the circle section out of the coffee filter and place it against the bottom of the top section of the Moka which screws on top of the coffee compartment and base. I add a bit of water to my finger and touch the filter with it, to help it hold in place better. This also has helped to have less of a muddy Espresso. I noticed even if I ground my coffee coarse a lot of tiny particles still worked their ways through and coffee would look muddy which would affect flavor.

Works great and stylish
Easy to use and clean. Convenient and sleek. I bought it for 2 purposes: (1) for camping, I wanted a nice cup of espresso; (2) when I have guests over my house. After camping it had some residue but it cleaned like new when I used Bar Keeper’s Friend cleaner.NOTE: If brewing over camp fire don’t use cold water. It’ll take longer to brew.

Lasted More Than 4 Years!
We drink a lot of coffee in this house. This espresso maker is great. I bought two! These are easy to clean, easy to assemble everyday, and are sturdy quality. I was curious about the integrity of the material since they were the cheaper option, but the coffee comes quickly, and it doesn’t squirt out a bunch of water around the base like some other espresso makers do. I like to steep a cinnamon teabag in the finished espresso. It gives it such a great flavor. I’ve stopped adding sugar when I can add the cinnamon teabag. We are now at two years with these espresso makers. Still no issues. Great quality, worth the money! After three years, one of the two I bought is starting to give the coffee a burned taste and just seems different. I think it’s because it got put in the dishwasher instead of being hand washed… but I still have to say that these are a great quality.Final edit: Four years and four months later, both espresso pots no longer work correctly. I just bought two more to replace our old ones. Overall satisfied. $20 and four years seems pretty good.

The Best Espresso Pot yet
I love my espresso in the mornings and I prefer a good 16oz cup of it, that includes the cream. This pot delivers! Big Plus is that it is a stainless steel pot rather than aluminum too. One thing to be aware of is the silicone seal. It MUST have the beveled side down facing the coffee grounds with the flat side against the pot, if it isn’t the seal will not be tight and it will leak while brewing. The instructions do not tell you that and it took me awhile to figure that out. I highly recommend this pot!

Pour me a cup!
This is one handy little Moka pot! It can make a very strong or very weak cup of coffee. It was large enough to make at least 2 cups for someone who likes standard strength coffee, if you add a little water to your cup after filling. It works well, cleans easily, and is high quality. I enjoyed the somewhat slower experience of brewing rather than setting and forgetting of other methods. WE took it camping, on vacation, grilling outside…. It is easy to use just about anywhere.

Delicious coffee ☕
I was looking for a smaller coffee pot, and decided to try a stove top pot which could make espresso. I purchased the Moka Pot because it was described as being made from stainless steel, but it is stainless only on the outside – the inside is aluminum. I was not interested in drinking coffee from an aluminum pot, so I have only used it a few times but I can say that the coffee is delicious! The pot assembly was simple and it is easy to clean. I can use it for specialty coffee, espresso and cappuccinos.

I truly recommend this coffee maker!
My husband loves his new coffee maker. He makes coffee two to three a day. This picture is of about a week of use. You can see it has survived! We use an electric stove and it has not made the metal turn color or look odd like other stove top coffee makers I have bought in the past. You can see it’s pretty big, it makes 9 cups of coffee in which he makes the cup in the picture with milk to take to work. Hope this can give you an idea of how much coffee you can get from it.

I can finally have my favorite coffee in minutes
The media could not be loaded.
I have read reviews stating the difficulty of cleaning the item especially the inside. I have found it to be very easy and simple just by using a silicone baster. I’m able to clean the bottom groove in seconds as well as the side. I’ve been able to dissemble the pot clean it completely and have it ready for use within 4 minutes.I’m very pleased with this purchase and I suggest that you consider it over the aluminum products due to the disintegration of the material.UPDATEI’ve used this pot every day since I received it and I have used three different types of coffee beans. Expresso beans are not readily available in grocery stores luckily I live close to the strip district where everything from food items to clothing is available so I have acquired my best beans there.

Easy to use and beautiful design
This is hands down the most beautiful espresso maker I ever had. It’s easy to use. You use it basically the same as every espresso maker. Fill water until just under the steam valve. Add coffee to the filter and put it on medium heat. It takes about 3 minutes until you have a strong, wonderful aromatic espresso. Cleaning is a breeze. Wait until it’s completely cooled down, discard the coffee and rinse. Couldn’t be easier. I will leave this in the counter because I am going to use it every day and because it looks beautiful. I bought the smaller version to see if I like it and I might buy the larger version too.

Better than expected for the price.
I’ve had this for about a month now and it is better than expected for the price, though I see that currently Amazon has doubled the cost of what I paid for it!I’ve had a number of moka pots over the years, mostly Bialetti (the original moka pot) and Cuisinox. I recently dropped and bent the rim of my Cuisinox Liberta 10-Cup pot and it would no longer hold the steam. I ordered one of the larger Bialetti pots, but there was what looked like loose metal plating on the internal funnel/filter. I returned it and the replacement had the same issue, so I decided to try one of these Chinese made off brand models – there seem to be several on Amazon that are the same but under different brand names. It was half the price of the defective Bialetti and a third of my old Cuisinox, I was a bit skeptical of the quality of a cheap brand, but it seemed worth a try for the price.I was even more skeptical when it arrived, the stainless steel is of a lighter gauge than either the Cuisinox or the Bialetti and kind of felt flimsy in comparison, but thus far have had no issues. In some ways its even an improvement on the old Cuisinox – the handle is cooler and it doesn’t drip when I pour the coffee. The Cuisinox always dripped a little over the edge and spilt some coffee. I got the 600ml/20oz/12 cup version, which provides 2 big mugs worth of almost espresso coffee per pot.So far no issues, no rusting or corroding as some have reported. The upper gasket and filter are a little loose, but haven’t fallen out of the top half yet. I’ll be getting some replacement gaskets for the future, as that is the only thing that goes wrong with these moka pots – unless you drop and bend them!

Great espresso!
Never heard of these until I was doing a search for Italian coffee. Didn’t want to spend a lot of money and didn’t want aluminum or plastic. This one fits the bill! Easy to use and you have good espresso in minutes. I preheat the water in the microwave for 2 minutes. Makes it hot but not too hot.I debated between getting the 10 oz or the larger one. Poured 10 oz of water in my favorite insulated glass cup & it was perfect! What I didn’t know is that you lose 2 oz of water in preparation. Not all of the water boils through and some is in the grounds. Should have gotten the larger one. Oh well. Will use this one for a while and then maybe get the other one. The price is right!!

2 yr update: 300 ML is a Solid 5 star pot at this price!
Update, 10-7-21: I’ve fried it a few times by leaving it on a gas burner, then starting a long call. After the first burn, I recut a bit thicker new donut gasket to replace the shipped one, which had disolved after 1st extended overheat. My hand-cut thicker replacement gasket has lasted well, and I’ve had to tighten handle just once, though after those overheats, it now holds a slight jiggle even at Max-tighten. Great for price..Orig. comments, 10-19-19: I’ve used various espresso makers for years to make stronger caffe Americano. Bought 300 ml. Nice three-finger-long handle, which doesn’t overheat on a gas burner. Would prefer that handle was slightly longer, and that lid was a little less flimsy. Functional overall, and works great for my purposes.

Four years of daily use and still going strong
I purchased this Mokapot back in 2019 and have been using it on a near daily basis ever since. I used to have a Bialetti but the aluminum surface began to worry me for health reasons. (Aluminum has been linked to Alzheimer’s.) The Goodmorn pot is a great substitute. It produces great coffee with no problems. I have never changed the silicone ring. I don’t know why people bother. Yes it darkens with use but silicone rubber products have a shelf life of 20 years and can withstand extreme conditions.

Perfect big size
When we all gather playing dominoes at night and the whole gang wants cafe ☕️ this is the size you need around, one brew covers everyone! Can easily make 10-12+ Cuban coffee shots.

A decent 12 ounces of “perked” coffee
Update: I’ve been using this just about daily for 3 months, still makes good coffee. The things I’ve noticed isfirst the lid isn’t very easy to open with the little tab, it doesn’t provide enough leverage for easy opening. While it does have a pour opening in the lid pouring out coffee isn’t a problem, only after pouring the coffee I like to open lid and rinse out the remaining coffee/grinds left behind in the top part.Second thing is I notice the handle is getting lose. It seems the screw isn’t tight. I never use the handle to remove top from bottom, always grab the top and bottom to loosen and remove. The only thing I’ve used the handle for is to set on stove to perk and then to pick up and pour. Likely just needs the screw tightened, maybe some lock tight on the threads would stop that in the future.Otherwise still makes a good 12 ounce mug of coffee. I really wouldn’t call this (or anything similar to this) an expresso maker, it’s is just like a percolator only the water passes through the grinds just once instead of many times. Which is why needs more grinds then a percolator which passes the water through the grinds many times. Like a percolator the top is open to room pressure air so this doesn’t send high pressure water through the grinds any more then a percolator does. But if just want one 12 ounce mug of coffee then this is great way to go. With just making 12 ounce mug it takes around 5 minutes to make. With normal morning routine start this going first then by or before have other kitchen morning routines done coffee is ready too. When I was making coffee with the 64 ounce percolator would be close to 30 minutes before coffee was ready. Big difference.———————————————Before this I had been using a percolator (Farberware 50124 Classic Stainless Steel Yosemite 8-Cup Coffee Percolator) which made very good coffee (still does) but now that I don’t need as much coffee per day this espresso maker makes coffee very similar to my old percolator, perhaps slightly stronger then my usual 6 minute perc but if I had let the percolator go for a minute or two longer likely wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.OK, so what it comes down to. It will make about 12 ounce of coffee per batch. Coffee flavor is depended on beans and roast used. Good beans and roast makes good coffee. Percolator used eight spoonful of grinds to make about 8 cups (64 ounces), this espresso maker uses three spoonful to make 12 ounce (1.5 cups). So it uses about twice as much grinds as the percolator per eight ounces of coffee. In both cases I just spoon in the grinds and level it out without packing the grinds down. With both I ground the beans to the same I use for the percolator (course grind). Brew time (from cold water to time ready to pour into a mug) with expresso maker is fairly quick, I didn’t time it but seems around 5 minutes. with percolator about 20 minutes (larger volume of water will take longer to bring to a boil). I would allow water to come to boil first then lower the inside parts into pot and put the top on, turned the heat down to low, after first perc appeared I had set a timer for six minutes. This kept the brew time consistent with consistent results. Yeah, a lot of work for a morning cup of coffee…With the espresso maker the water is pushed out of the reservoir into the top part, it will make a sputtering sound when finished so no need for a timer. Results are consistent with the grind and beans used. For some reason after brewing the reservoir will have a small amount of very dilute brewed coffee in the bottom, if left on the heat too long this coffee residue will become a scorched, burned in mess that would be very difficult to clean. So once it finishes brewing take it off the heatLike with the percolator there was some learning curve to find what I considered best flavor coffee (perk time, grind size), so I will have to experiment with grind size and if rather or not to and how packed down the grinds need to be to make for me the best tasting coffee from it.Some things to be aware of…1 – I wouldn’t consider this espresso maker as being heavy duty (is any of them?) so never use the handle to tighten or loosen the top from the bottom, likely that would eventually rip the handle off.2 – fill with water to below that thing that sticks out of the side of the reservoir, it’s a safety pressure release valve. If it’s covered by water it will not work correctly3 – After brewing it will be too hot to hold for a while so either wait to let it cool before trying to separate the halves or wear heat proof gloves when doing it. Dump the old grounds and rinse everything well and it’s ready for next time.4 – I’m sure there may be some other things but off hand I can’t think what… so whatever it is never do it… or is it always do it…For first time use I washed everything with soap, water and dish sponge to remove any oil or contaminates from the manufacturing process. Rinse well and then do a brew without grinds. When cool take it all apart and rinse well then brew your first batch of good coffee.Yep, first batch was a good tasting cup of coffee without much effort.

Low price, good performance!
We bought a second one – same item. First one was left on the stove a bit too long and the inside kinda burned. But that will happen to any other similar product. So, just avoid burning the bottom and it will serve you well for a long time! 🙂

Very nice and great gift
Purchased as a part of house warming gift for a friend. It was well received and he loves it. It’s a great gift for a coffee aficionado. Even if you generally use a coffee maker – you can’t beat the taste of fresh brewed hot coffee using a percolator. Every coffee lover should have one of these- they’re inexpensive, take up little room and so attractive.

As described
Large capacity, works great. Definitely worth the price. All stainless. It may look like aluminum on the inside, but that’s just brushed stainless.

Best Coffee Maker
When my espresso maker finally died, I thought I’d get one of those that the Italians used, when I lived in Italy. I lived in Italy for 6 years and observed that everyone used this type of stove top coffee maker. The only problem is that they are all made of aluminum. My doctor told me this was bad for you: too much aluminum in your blood can cause problems down the road. This stainless steel “cafeteria” was the way to go. It makes great coffee. Now I have to respond to others’ criticisms of this product in the reviews.1. It does NOT rust! It’s stainless steel, which can discolor because of the heating. The photos on other reviews of “rust” looked like mineral deposits from the water. Sometimes stainless can have a very thin dusting of rust, but steel wool cleans it right up.2. The handle is not to be used as a lever to open. This is common sense. It is not designed for this. It will break. Use a hot pad to grip the sides of the coffee maker. Yes, it can be tight, but run it under cold water and this will make the steel contract a little and you can then loosen it apart easily.3. The lower half can get discolored but use some elbow grease if you don’t like it. It doesn’t affect the coffee’s taste. With a little bit of maintenance this will last, and continue to make great coffee.

Brews a Delicious Cup of Coffee – Plus a Tip for Opening
Morning expresso coffee is our habit and we recently purchased the Goodmorn Mocca Pot to replace our old stovetop express maker. We love this new maker. It brews a delicious pot of coffee, the pot itself is good looking and it was reasonably priced. Two things I can offer to those who might purchase: One, it can be hard to twist the pot open for cleaning. DON’T try to use the handle as a means to open else risk breaking it. After experimentation I found the easiest way to open was to use rubber gloves. Open the lid and put one gloved hand inside over the rim and the other gloved hand on the bottom. Twist top detach the two pieces. Second, it takes about six minutes to brew the coffee on our stove top. Instructions tell you to not use the high heat setting so I don’t. I do find that the sound the pot makes when brewing is an enjoyable part of the process AND when the brewing is complete you know it. Sound goes from brewing to absolutely no sound. Boom, its done and ready to be enjoyed. Love this new coffee/expresso maker. Got to go. Time for coffee.

The best!!!
I just had to write a review. I’ve had my expresso maker for a little over 3 years and it has not failed me. Love it!!!!

Good for the price
The brewer works well if you read and follow the preparation instructions. Don’t use pre-ground coffee by default it will make really weak and acidic tasting coffee. I used a coffee grinder to grind store-bought coffee to a finer size and it worked really well, just make sure not to grind too fine or too much pressure will build in the chamber. Before I bought this I saw a lot of reviews with corroded water heating chambers, so I’ve been making sure to clean the whole pot with hot water and pat it dry to avoid any moisture and it’s worked so far.

Exceptional quality for the price
Having owned a dozen or more stove top espresso makers over the past 50+ years (including several in this style which I still own) I can only say the “Godmorn Italian Coffee Maker 450ml/15oz/9 cup” at less than $25 is a steal. If it didn’t make an excellent steaming large mug of strong coffee every time I have used it (a dozen at this point after 5 days) then I wouldn’t be recommending it. It is mainly made of steel and though not of heavy construction will surely hold up well over time if not abused. The nine cup device, if filled to the level of the steam valve, will provide a large mug of coffee.

Great Moka Pot For The Price
This is a knockoff of higher priced name brand moka pots of similar design, and a great value. It has a stainless steel exterior and a sand blasted stainless interior. Filled to the pressure relief valve, it takes ~10 ounces of water, and yields around 6 1.5 ounce cups of ESPRESSO. Don’t think this is a 6 cup regular coffee maker! And don’t think it’s a true espresso maker, there just isn’t enough pressure to make the real thing. But it’s very close. It’s a bit fiddly in that you need to not overfill or tamp down the coffee AT ALL, in fact, leaving a very small headspace at the top of the coffee basket is a good idea. Otherwise, the wet coffee will expand, block the filtering. and steam will come out around the seal leaving you with reduced yield and a little mess of overflow in your burner bowl. And you can’t have ANY coffee at all on the top of the basket or in the threads where the pieces screw together, or the same thing happens – the grounds prevent a good seal from occurring. Ditto in that you can’t fill it even a speck over the pressure valve in the base, or again, it spits and leaks. Also, wetting the seal before you put the top and bottom together seems to help.If you are a little careful it works every time and makes a good strong pot of espresso-like coffee. This pot is much easier to clean than hexagon design pots, unless you like your pot “seasoned” as some do. I don’t have a dishwasher, so I don’t know what happens if you put it in one.

A classic design, made with quality material.
It turns out this simple, classic design can still be made with quality materials, and yet be purchased for an affordable price. The only reason, in this case, to buy a more recognizable brand is merely to own a more recognizable brand. It makes good espresso strength coffee. The 15oz size can make enough for two people. There’s just nothing wrong with it.

Italian Accent
I feel like a character straight out of the Italian series Gomorrah when I enjoy the espresso from this little Moka pot! Extra rich and flavorful coffee is easily brewed in this stainless steel beauty. It is easily cleaned and maintained. I make a point of thoroughly drying it and have not seen the rust mentioned in other reviews. I will note that despite being stainless steel on the outside, it appears to be aluminum on the inside. Nice little brewer!

Good and Simple
We had an electric espresso maker for years and it finally sprung a leak. We decided to go for a simpler design and stainless was a must. So far this has worked well. It’s not really any harder to clean than our old electric one and it heats up quickly on our glass top stove. It seems sturdy enough to last a while. Happy so far!

Nice coffee pot
I loved the percolated coffee my grandfather made camping. I bought this to get that same taste. It worked well, nice strong coffee.

it works well, weve been using for 6 months without much issue
if you drink a mug of coffee, it fills one mug basically (the “6 cup” option). Its not easy to make a second cup cause the whole thing is pretty hot, and you’re not supposed to twist it by the handle lest it break off. but if you’re doing one cup with a lot of time before the second one (or get some silicon oven gloves that can twist it without burning yourself, its pretty good. coffee is consistent quality coming out of it and it beats instant coffee

Fantastic little percolator
I have completely converted to espresso in the morning. Can’t even stand a regular cup of coffee anymore. Thanks to this excellent little device. I bought a second one to keep at work, and I work at a donut shop, where there is plenty of decent coffee, but no espresso The pot comes very well packaged, with instructions.Simple to use and easy to clean. Nice simple design and classy look.Get one, you won’t be disappointed, except by regular coffee, heh, heh. On a side note, get Cafe Bustelo when you buy espresso, it’s the best.
