I recently visited Cedar Coffee. I can't stop thinking about the cardamom oat milk latte I had. It was so delicious! This is the best coffee in Spokane! The babka was also a wonderful treat I have not had elsewhere. Great environment! I love this cafe. I wish they served sandwiches & soups.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Spokane. As soon as you walk in the door you are hit with a calmness that's palpable. You start to decompress from the world outside. They make their own syrups. Try the cardomum. Their espresso is the only one that doesn't hurt my stomach. LOVE them!

Wonderful coffee shop and a complete hidden gem! This coffee shop sits in a bit of a rougher part of town and in a place that can be difficult to access, but don't let that deter you. Inside you will find a cozy and modern feeling coffee shop. Behind the counter is a friendly owner who seems delighted to serve his customers. He has many baked goods (locally sourced) to offer, as well as fantastic coffee beverages for a reasonable price. This place even offers alternative milks for no extra charge.

One of the best coffee shops around Spokane. They roast their beans and we have been buying a bag to take with us back home whenever we visit Spokane. The baristas are knowledgeable and friendly. The location is little bit out of the way but plenty of street parking and seats are available.

I am definitely NOT a coffee connoisseur, especially since I came late to the coffee party in my life. But I appreciate a well crafted iced latte triple, and Atticus Coffee hit it out of the park! I also ordered a croissant that was the largest is ever seen, but still flaky and delicious! I'm going back tomorrow!

Hatch beaker + burr is hands down one of the best coffee shops in Spokane. Nestled in the Saranac Commons building downtown, this coffee shop boasts a pleasant urban atmosphere as well as close proximity to other local businesses for food or shopping. Riverfront Park is also within walking distance, so taking their amazing coffee to the park is also an option. The coffee is excellent, and the folks who work here even more so.

One person, and she was awesome, can’t run this place alone. I give 5 stars for the service I received and the best mocha ever, given the circumstances, but I give 0 (zero) to the manager or the property. Half of the people in line left, I waited 20 minutes on the clock to place my order, my food got cold. If it wasn’t for the nice and very efficient lady that took my order after dealing with 8 previous orders, and then diligently made mine, despite the pressure of 9 people in line after me which 4 left, I woud give 1 star. So the 5 stars goes to her, but not the coffee shop owners/manager that can’t possibly leave one person only to run the place. Unacceptable. You deserve 1 shame star and 4 spanks. You have to apologize to the lady that’s running your business for not being there to help her personally if it was an unforeseen event. I was here before and I don’t know if I’ll come again if this keeps happening. Why do I have to walk 8 blocks and cross the river if eating my food cold is the reward, huh?! Well I have that reheated… but… still

At Hatch Beaker + burr I was impressed with the care and consistency that goes into every cup. It is somewhat rare to find a coffee shop that goes through the process of measuring each dose, tamping it correctly, and pouring every shot with the same consistency. The coffee shop is located in a unique downtown building that has several other shops, including a gift shop, bar, and it looks like a bakery will be opening soon. It’s an open concept, which is nice, because there is a lot of seating, at least in the morning time when I went. However it didn’t have the typical coffee house feel to it which I tend to look for to relax while sipping my coffee.(Comfy seats, tables, fireplace or some kind of relaxing feature, music)Overall, I was very impressed with the product and will go back again when I am back visiting Spokane

We were honored to partner with First Avenue Coffee to launch our alcohol-free pop-up event business, Diversion Events! Doyle and Carri were flexible, passionate, and welcoming hosts. Their staff is creative, talented, and tireless. The space is immaculate and perfect for an event. The mocktail menu is impeccable and sourced beautifully, not mention their regular food and drink options. Basically, they approach all they do with excellence, and it shows. I don't know where to begin. Typically, I'll review a place after I leave, but I couldn't wait in case someone was on the fence deciding if they should come here or not. Please, definitely put this shop on your list of coffee shops to visit. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and fast. I asked for a recommendation on my drink, and it did not disappoint. Very delicious!! I also got the coconut macaroon and cheddar and chive biscuit. Um... what kind of magic is going on in the kitchen to put an egg in the middle of the biscuit? It is absolutely mouthwatering and by far the best biscuit I have ever eaten. I can not say enough good things about my experience, and I truly hope everyone gives this shop a try and falls in love as much as I have.

The cafe was very clean and visually appealing. While being busy it was not overly loud or noisy inside and the indie themed music was at a nice volume. Our coffees were promptly made without a long wait and the barista added an artistic touch to our lattes. 4/5 would come again!Edit: In response I would say we were excited to try out your food and avocado toast is one of my wife's favorite snacks but there were so many toppings and different trendy ingredients listed on it, to us it just did not look appetizing. Some classic bakery items like a brownie or regular avocado toast would be great! Perhaps to other people the food is fantastic but for us we didn't end up trying anything. Thanks for the follow up!

It was my first time visiting Ladder. I love the atmosphere. It's cute, cozy, and a chill place to grab coffee. We got a scone and their breakfast sandwich. The scone was flavorful and was "moist" for a scone. It was pretty good. The breakfast sandwich didn't have a ton of flavor, I mostly could taste the fried egg, but was decent. I ordered the white chocolate lavender latte. I truthfully couldn't taste much of either flavor, but it was a good latte. My husband had the hazelnut latte and said his was really good. Overall it was a good experience and we'll be back.

This place has been all the rage for quite awhile, so it's a trendy place to like. I get it. But like so many trendy places, it's now just trading on its trendiness (i.e. its old reputation). But what do you actually get? Decent coffee drinks and pretty good food, but at exorbitant prices. Two breakfast sandwiches (each on a modest brioche bun -- see pic) and two 12 oz. chai lattes (12 oz. mind you) put me out $35. Did I say exorbitant? That's $10/sandwich and $6/drink. Then there's the service. Took 20 minutes to get the sandwiches because the cashier forgot to put our order in. Again, I get it. We all make mistakes. No worries. But when I went up to inquire about said missing sandwiches, I got nothing approximating an "Oh my gosh. Let me make it up to you. Two drinks on the house." I didn't even get a simple "I'm so sorry about that." Just an "Oh yeah. Forgot to put in your order." No, really?Ladder to nowhere.

I don’t know what it is about white dog coffee but to me it taste store bought . I’ve gone to different locations and every single one’s coffee taste gross. Burnt? Cheap and half the time the baristas don’t even care to make my drink right, taste like coffee and milk every time, in stead of complaining I just don’t come back. Prices are outrage too . Almost 10$ for one coffee is pushing it.

The absolute best coffee shop in Spokane! The employees are always so happy and have the best attitudes! Their drinks are to die for and they always have something new and unique to try. The owners are incredible locals and you can tell they treat their employees right and make sure the customers are happy. They have amazing drinks but in addition they have great food. I specifically love their turkey pesto sandwich, their meat breakfast burrito, their breakfast sandwich and their strawberry granola bagel. I also love all of their sweet treats and pastries. Coffee is mediocre. Ordered a mocha that everywhere else costs around $5, and here it was $7. Also, it weirdly tastes like peanut butter? Service is fine, if you don't mind the barista not coming to the window to get your order, knowing she can't hear past the close road traffic.Definitely recommend BLVD coffee or Devils brew just down the road!
