Very beautiful and high quality tamper
I was on the fence about whether I should get a 2-in-1 distributor and tamper or just this tamper by itself. The price point of this tamper made it a no brainer to get and it matches the wood design on my porta filter. The shiny stainless steel makes it feel so luxurious to have as an accessory in my coffee station, but more importantly this tamper is so solid and heavy it’s practically doing half of the work for you. This tamper simplifies my coffee making process during the week when I don’t really have a lot of time. I use a dosing cup to transfer and level my grounded coffee beans into my porta filter and in one step I press with this tamper and I get consistent results all the time. I highly recommend this tamper at a terrific price.As an Amazon Vine Voice, I provide unbiased reviews of products most people would need or want. Ultimately, I balance expectations against price. Great grinder
This is the best coffee grinder that I’ve owned. The others I’ve had were noisy, only had a few settings and quickly caked with ground coffee.This grinder doesn’t cake up for several reasons. The slower grinding speed creates less static electricity. There’s no plastic box to collect the ground coffee, it goes directly into a portafilter, or into the included stainless cup. No plastic static and easy to clean stainless make a winning combo.There are several other things I like about this grinder.- It has 20 fineness settings with recommendations for types of preparation. (See pic)- The hopper removes for easy cleaning.- Three digital presets for brewed, single shot and double shot expresó. (Presets are for grinding duration, fineness is a manual setting.)- It is less noisy than other grinders.- It looks expensive on my countertop.The box included the grinder, stainless cup, portafilter adapter for smaller diameter portafilter, a cleaning brush and a user guide.Cappuccino anyone? Per me il caffè espresso sono 5 minuti tutti miei che iniziano con l’accensione della macchinetta e finiscono con la degustazione. Ho anche un pressacaffè in acciaio, oggettivamente bellissimo e pesante, ma di diametro 51. Il mio filtro è 53 e ho deciso di provare questo.Beh, non ha il peso e probabilmente nemmeno la solidità granitica del mio ma è assolutamente perfetto per quello che deve fare e il legno fa la sua figura (preferisco l’acciaio ma sono gusti personali). L’impugnatura è comoda e la dimensione al micron; non passa un granello e viene pressato perfettamente in un colpo solo…mentre col mio da 51 era più laborioso!!LO COMPREREI: Assolutamente sì.AVREI FATTO IL RESO: no!

Estoy encantada con este molinillo.Es bonito, cómodo, intuitivo y muele súper bien y es bastante silencioso.Algún comentario me daba miedo porque decía que no molía suficientemente fino para espresso, pero a mi me parece que va genial, muele muy fino y uniforme.Depende de cómo sea tu portafiltros se va a agarrar mejor o peor, nosotros empezamos con el de la Delonghi Dedica y se movía un poco y si le pones anillo para que no se salga no engancha. Ahora tenemos uno con 2 boquillas y nuestra solución ha sido quitar el enganche para portafiltros y apoyarlo directamente en la base del molinillo, así cae directo y se puede hacer sin manos, que según las necesidades físicas de cada uno es una comodidad. Para quitar el enganche NO desenrosquéis los tornillos, con subir el accesorio es suficiente, que yo los toqué y ahora bailan por mi culpa. Sino, agarrando con una mano y dando a la pantalla con la otra va perfectamente.Muele muy bien, te ahorras mucha limpieza de polvo de café caído por la mesa y además tienes café recién molido, por este precio me parece una gran compra.Además si mandas un email te extienden la garantía.Muy recomendable.

Great grinder – quiet and no static
I really like this coffee grinder which I use almost every day. I have owned 2 other grinders, and this is by far the quietest of all of them. You can either use the cup that comes with the grinder, or you can use the bracket for your portafilter, either way you are getting a great grind. You have many settings of grinds, and the burr grinders are easily separated for cleaning. And it was hard to believe but there is no static!

Easy to use
My first coffee tamper!I use a percolator for coffee and even though it has a metal filter, sometimes grounds get through and end up on the coffee. I’ve used anything from the back of spoons to measuring cups, or even water glasses to try to tamp down the coffee by force. This tamper works like a charm, although the one I got is not the perfect size for my XXL percolator. It is extremely easy to just lift and move it around to tamp the next spot, I don’t have to use any strength at all which is great. No more coffee grounds on my coffee since I got this.The tamper itself feels smooth, nice and heavy, with no rough spots whatsoever. Very comfortable to maneuver.

There really is such a difference when it comes to good and bad coffee grinders. This is definitely a good coffee grinder. I think the $100 price point really makes a difference and that in the cheaper grinders you get uneven thickness in the coffee. I can taste the difference in the fresh coffee ground in this grinder vs my previous hand held coffee grinder. This machine is easy to use and no setup needed really. Easy to clean as well. I highly recommend this product.

This grinder did its job as I expected. I had several different grinders and none of them worked like this one. Most of them have a box and it is pretty hard to clean those boxes when I need some nice coffee and don’t want to mess up my desk. With this one, I don’t have to clean the box anymore since it goes directly to the holder and no need to worry about it.

HEAVY duty espresso tamper!
I grabbed this for my espresso machine as it didn’t come with one. First off let me say this thing is HEAVY. Just set it on your grounds and it’ll tamp them itself. To be quite honest, it’s to heavy. God forbid you drop it on your toe early in the am. Or it rolls off the table and breaks your tile floor. It’s made of 2 pieces of solid stainless steel that screw together. It doesn’t need to be this heavy though. They could have hollowed it out and made 2 of them out of the material they have in one. Which in turn could save the customer money. Don’t get me wrong. It does what it’s supposed to. It just seems more like a paperweight than anything else. If that’s what you’re looking for than this is for you. But I’d you don’t want to pick up a solid steel block in the morning I suggest a different one.Overall I give it 4 stars because it does exactly what it’s supposed to and is as described. But I personally wouldn’t buy it over the weight. Happy shopping!

Quiet and grinds continuously. Metal base but plastic body. Design flaw and not very flexible on the portafilter holder. Capacitive touchscreen. Longevity is to be seen but hope it holds up. Over solid and not too much bendy parts. I’m going to use the stainless steel cup which feels very nice. No static on the beans I grinded but it’s not a super dry kindEspresso setting is decent but not super fineRubber feet covering the screws. The porta filter screw nuts on the inside will fall when you unscrew. So I had to open machine to remove nuts entirely. Starting the machine has initial kick and may have high current draw, which the machine may move itselfIt does what it needs to do and is amazing value for near 80$. Would recommend for friends

Perfect Chute Design
The AMZCHEF coffee grinder is proof that you do not need to spend a fortune to get a great coffee grinder. This is my 4th coffee grinder in four years. When the Bodum died (It was the worst of the previous 3–only lasted 10 months and leaked ground coffee from absolutely EVERY opening on the machine) I began my search by checking ratings at Consumer Reports and America’s Test Kitchen. The top rated machines were all around $100+ and all name brand machines. I checked the same top rated machines on Amazon and the Amazon ratings listed the same issues I had experienced with my previous machines. They all leaked ground coffee, They are ridiculously hard to clean and they had a short lifespan. The AMZCHEF coffee grinder had me once I saw the ground coffee chute. The design is superior to other models in this price range and above. The machine is solid and well built. Directions are listed on side of machine. The stainless cup is rubberized on the bottom so it sits securely on the machine base when grinding. The machine grind is uniform with NO MESS and NO STATIC!! The clean-up is also no mess. I expected to brush out ground coffee from the chute or around the burr—the chute was clean and the burr had very little coffee debris. When I tilted this machine over the sink, nothing leaked out—amazing! I’m used to a pile of grounds falling into the sink. I also ran the machine for 110 seconds at 22 second consecutive intervals. No issues with the motor overheating or stopping. I LOVE this machine. I didn’t know you could grind coffee without grounds flying everywhere.

I absolutely LOVE this grinder. It’s truly amazing. It has all of the settings you will need and the burr grinder is the bomb. It is so quiet! Unfortunately, the videos don’t do this machine justice. It really is a lot more quiet than I expected. Honestly, my espresso has now become a bit of an addiction. I actually dream about fresh ground espresso at least twice a week! LOL!!!Thanks for such a fantastic machine at such a great price!!!

Adjustable Coffee Burr Grinder

This is a nice coffee grinder. When it comes to coffee grinders, you always want a burr style grinder, as this type doesn’t heat the beans while they are being ground (heating the beans while grinding causes the coffee to be bitter). It has a smallish hopper, I wish it were bigger. The unit itself is compact and slim, which is good if you are trying to save counter space. It has variable grind settings so you can select the grind for your application (eg espresso is a fine grind, drip is more corse). You can set it up with your expresso handle or it comes with a stainless steel cup for collecting other types of grinds. There are so many settings that it will take a little effort to learn all the controls and get it dialed in for you, but that’s not a bad thing. More choices are better in this case. Once you get it set up for your use though, it should be one touch operation. Overall I’m pleased with this grinder.

The best!
I got this for the chute design, and I liked the idea of dialing in exactly the amount I wanted to grind. I got that and a lot more. I wish I could plagiarize Christy’s review – she said so many points so well. No mess, easy to clean, quiet, even with instructions on the side where you can’t loose them! Besides its small footprint, it just looks cool sitting next to my espresso machine. Really love this grinder. The only thing I would change is to add power switch. I have to plug it in to turn on, and unplug to turn it off.

Ho deciso di testare questo prodotto perché ha attirato dalla sua fattura dalla qualità dei componenti impiegati e dalla possibilità di aggiungere un accessorio elegante alla mia cucina. Ho scoperto che il prodotto è realizzato con cura con materiali gradevoli e la sensazione di uso è molto molto piacevole. Unica nota dolente è il packaging del prodotto assolutamente non adeguato a proteggerlo dagli urti e da eventuali danni che possano avvenire durante il trasporto. Il prodotto si presenta bene con un manico in legno collegato alla base in acciaio che svolge la funzione di pressa caffè tramite una vite di diametro generoso. La parte in legno è di buona fattura con delle belle venature ben in vista e è consigliabile rimuoverla prima di sottoporre il pezzo al lavaggio. Il peso dell’attrezzo è superiore ai 350 grammi ed è ottimo per la funzione che deve svolgere.In definitiva soprattutto visto il costo e il momento della recensione di poco inferiore ai 10 euro si tratta di un prodotto sicuramente interessante che ci consentirà di gustare un ottimo caffè e di aggiungere un accessorio elegante e ben fatto alla nostra cucina.

Nice quality and weight
I’m very pleased with this item. It has a really nice weight to it; tamps well. The finish is nice quality and the wood is smooth and has a pleasing satin finish to it– classy looking without being too shiny or over the top. Looks so nice on top of my espresso machine. It is definitely an upgrade to the plastic tamper that was original to the machine. Definitely recommended.

Works great. You’ll probably need to play with it a little bit to figure out the settings that work best for you. At first it was grinding the beans into a super soft fluffy powder. But that ended up making it too dense for the brew. Once I found just the right setting for the proper grind, it worked amazingly. Plus the it grinds a nice big batch so I don’t have to continuously grind for seemingly hours.

Good, not great for espresso
I am reviewing this specifically for espresso use. For espresso, it’s good, not great. Why? Espresso machines, especially those with unpressurized portafilter baskets, require very exacting grind adjustments. This is where the AMZCHEF falls a little short.Lack of adjustability. The AMZCHEF is it is supposed to have eight steps (grind selections) for espresso, but it’s really only around four stop-wise, and there are no micro adjustments. That’s just not enough, period. I guess you can stop in between steps, but it’s hard to see what setting you’re on when you do that. I’m on “2” (I think) and there’s only one finer setting left, 0. The stops are vague/mushy and hard to discern. Reading what setting you’re on is difficult since the arrow is a little far from the dashes. Fortunately, it does grind finely enough to choke my unpressurized basket on the finest grind setting (0), so yes, technically it can grind finely enough for unpressurized baskets, but it just doesn’t allow you to “dial-in” with precision. Although I’m pulling good shots, they would be great if it had more steps or a stepless micro-adjuster.The grind time for a double shot is around 18 to 19 seconds, a little slow, but not a problem. It’s fairly quiet, so I don’t mind. The grounds themselves are fluffy, but the fines aren’t as good as with the flat burr commercial grinder I own. The 40 mm conical burr in the AMZCHEF is probably the same burr that’s in all household conical burr coffee grinders. Although, there are no micro adjustments available with the removable burr as there are with some name brands such as Breville and KitchenAid.The digital display is big, clear, and easy to read. It doesn’t look like a high quality display, but it’s functional. Time adjustments are super easy, I didn’t need the manual to figure out how to use it, so very intuitive. The manual is understandable and downloadable too on the AMZCHEF site. For espresso, you can only make half second increment adjustments which is OK, but it really should do 10th of a second increments.The machine weighs just over five pounds, and is attractive overall. The fit and finish is fine. Some people are bothered by the giant, hard to remove sticker on the side. I can see that being an issue for some, but I didn’t bother trying to remove it. I have it sitting next to my espresso machine and don’t even notice it. The hopper is good. You twist it to unlock it, and it automatically closes the bottom hopper to keep beans from falling out. Nice.Another feature is the metal portafilter holder. It’s a nice touch, simple and effective. It holds my Gaggia Classic portafilter (58 mm) with the “black pad” attached, and is good for hand-free espresso grinding, but I actually prefer not using it. It pops right off, so that’s no problem. I prefer holding the portafilter handle, resting the spouts on the metal plate while grinding. By doing this, it allows you to more evenly distribute the grounds into the basket as it fills, and helps you avoid making a mess. There’s no sign of clogging and little grind retention from what I can tell, so that’s good.In summary, if it had more precise espresso settings and 10th of a second time adjustability, the AMZCHEF would be incredible, next level good as a home espresso grinder. Even so, it has so many features and does so much right, I don’t think there’s anything better under $100, that’s why I give it 5 stars even with the concerns mentioned. I’m keeping it.

Purchased this has a replacement for current Krupps grinder that wore out. I make espresso/cappuccino every day and this grinder performs perfectly. The displays and functions allow you to adjust the grinding times to fit your preferences. The pre-set’s work well but I find that they run a little too long for my application. I use a puck screen so usually run about 8 seconds at two marks up from the finest setting. Grinds are super consistent and make the perfect crema.Very happy with the AMAZCHEF grinder and espresso machine also pictured. ( The grind for my French press & regular drip makers also come out great.) just experiment with the grind that best fits your device since they are all different.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
I was very excited to have received this sleek coffee grinder as a gift but when I tried to use it, found out that there was something not right….the grinder would stop after a few seconds. (Sometimes these things happen) Without having the receipt and confirmation of purchase, I decide to go ahead and send an email to IAZCHEF to see if they can help me. Without having proof of purchase, I did not expect to hear back from them. Within a few minutes I received an email response asking for a picture and video of what the issue was. They got back to me right away and said there was something faulty in the power board and they offered to send me a brand new machine!I work in an industry where Customer Service is important and I must say that I was truly amazed with the absolute excellent customer service from this company!Talk about going Above and Beyond for the Customer!!! OUTSTANDING!!!

Big upgrade from my Capresso
I’m a budget espresso guy at the moment with one of those $100 machines, and I’m happy to say that this does fit my 51mm portafilter, even though it advertises 52mm minimum, and I’m also very happy that it still stays put and fits with my bomber funnel! Other than grinder is consistent and easy to set. The fact that I can easily take out the burrs to clean them so convenient. I had to physically take apart my old grinder by removing screws and assemblies to clean it, so it basically never got cleaned. I have not seen much coffee grounds retention either, so things stay nice and clean. The touch screen is really fantastic, and it’s really beautiful to look at on my countertop. The little portafilter holder easily comes off when you want to use the cup (nicer than I thought, it has a little rubber ring on the bottom) for a french press or pour-over. I’m so glad I upgraded!

An Awesome Machine
This coffee grinder is fantastic and well worth the money. You can control the fineness (or coarseness) of the grind, how many cups you need, as well as the duration of the grind. It is not too noisy either. It also appears to be well constructed. Upon close scrutiny, I did not detect any “cheapness” whatsoever, so I believe I will get my money’s worth out of it and then some. The real question is: how long will it last before it breaks? If it does, I’ll be back to update this review. For now, it’s a solid 5 star product.

It took a little tinkering around to figure out how to work this coffee grinder. Nonetheless, I love it!It is super sturdy and fairly heavy which makes for non-slid item.I love that coffee beans can be stored in it and not necessarily grounded right away.Is also precisely measured power how many cups of coffee you’d like yup make which I like.My favorite thing about it is that it grinds coffee to the level of needs depending on what you’re brewing. This makes for a delicious cup and makes it seem so fancy!Highly recommend!!I hope you find my review helpful!

This grinder is excellent—easy to use and clean. I primarily use it for my percolator coffee, as I have a separate machine dedicated to grinding espresso beans. I did test it for espresso, and it performed well, but I prefer my other grinder for that purpose. The noise level is typical for a grinder. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Took a chance because there were no reviews for this product. But because their other products have decent reviews, I wanted to give it a shot. Only used couple times for drip so far. Medium grind is very consistent. Looks very sturdy, sleek, and well built. So convenient to get right amount of grind to brew drip every morning before work with just the touch of a button. Will try the fine setting for espresso later and hope it’ll work well as well.

Quiet and fast
Quiet and efficient, if you get a e3 error check to see that the hopper is properly locked. Has consistant grinding and is adjustable. The best part of this grinder is the high ratings and zero biased vine reviews.Got it on a lightning deal and its fantastic.Update: 3 weeks and it works flawlessly, no jams and grinds fast and quiet. The aluminum 100 gram cup is zero static.Seems to do a awesome job, but then again im not a coffee snob measuring every granual with a set of calipers either.

Great grind!
I love the look of this grinder and it performs even better than I had expected. It is super easy to fine tune the grind amounts and easy to convert to a regular grinder catch container for other types of brewing. I was having a terrible time with my portafilter until I got this grinder and now I can brew amazing espresso finally. I appreciate that the bean hopper can be removed and has a small stopper to keep all the beans from coming out when you do that. I have run 3 pounds of beans through this machine and am very happy with my purchase.

By far, the best coffee grinder I’ve ever owned.
Good quality grinder, if you are looking for a solid mid price range grinder. This is it. I’ve owned other lower priced grinders that were fine for what I needed at that time. So far I have only used it for pour over coffee. It has a wide range of levels of grind size, from French press to espresso grind. I hope to test it in the future for espresso grind and will revisit this review later on my findings. But so far love it. It is quiet and easy to clean.

Simple operation, a small machine, does not occupy the position, complete functions. There are 24 grinding Settings, and you can even adjust the grinding time in 0.5 second increments, which is great and I love it.

Die Bedienung ist einfach, und dank des abnehmbaren Halters kann man den Kaffee direkt in den Siebträger mahlen, was für Espresso besonders praktisch ist.Die Mühle arbeitet zuverlässig und mahlt die Bohnen gleichmäßig, ohne sie zu überhitzen, sodass das Aroma erhalten bleibt. Zudem ist sie nicht zu laut und macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Wer frischen Kaffee liebt, bekommt hier eine tolle Kaffeemühle mit vielen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten und einer einfachen Handhabung. I am very impressed with this coffee grinder not only does it look great on the counter but it does a great job of grinding coffee. My husband is an avid coffee drinker and I often buy his coffee beans for him. I have always wanted to grind my own coffee beans and this machine helps me make that happen. Works Perfectly
This is a great coffee grinder. It grinds the beans very evenly and consistently, and isn’t nearly as loud as past grinders I have had. Compact size so it doesn’t take up much counter space. Highly recommend.

Having my trusty Krups flat burr grinder die after many years of use (more than 10 years @ 3-4x/wk) I was in the market for a new grinder. Anti-static was second most important feature with low noise the first. Initially I ordered one that was lower on noise than my dead Krups grinder but the claim of anti-static was false, so that was immediately sent back to Amazon less than a week of use. Back to my search and I stumbled across this Amzchef grinder and decided to give it a go. Totally satisfied with the results so far. Consistent grind, low noise, and zero static! The best part is that I can place anything under the spout for the coffee grounds to fall into. Now hoping this will last 10+ years like my last grinder.

This electric coffee grinder is awesome . The programming is very simple and adjusting grind level is simple just rotate it to desired coffee type . For a double shot espresso just set grind for 2 cup. Press start and the grinder will make exactly enough for a 2 cup . The stainless steel design matches my espresso machine and looks very nice . The craftsmanship is very good quality. I am very satisfied with its performance I have made over 20 espressos using this grinder and its a time saver compared to my manual grinder .

Amazing budget friendly Coffee Grinder
For a couple of months was searching for a non expensive, but great quality coffee grinder, until 5 days ago found this one on amazon. It had no reviews so no feedback at all, decided to give it a try and wow, what a greeeat surprise. Just prepared an espresso for my wife and me and it was silence while grinding, and had a perfect double shot of espresso. Also brings the portafilter holder which i was looking and for real, i will recommend it to all my friends. Safe a lot of money and does the same job as a $200+ coffees grinder. Greetings from NYC

Better to use and clean
Although it is louder than a hand-cranked grinder, it is much quieter than other similar electric grinders, and will not disturb your family in the morning. The detachable grinding blade and powder bin design makes cleaning effortless and does not easily accumulate residual coffee powder.

Very Nice
I bought 2 of these and we had an issue with the grinder dial on one of them but it was promptly taken care of. These are super nice grinders! They look really nice on the counter, too. They aren’t as loud as you would expect them to be which is nice. We needed two so there wasn’t a mix up with regular and decaf. (we added labels to the back of each machine) You may have to play around to find the right setting for what you’re making the ground with but it’s very easy and straight forward. Very happy with these!!! Definitely worth the price.

Ho seguito i consigli di alcuni utenti impostando una macinatura da 5 a 4 e sui 7 o 9 secondi per una tazzina di caffé. Il caffé che ne risulta è ottimale (chiaramente dipende anche dalla qualità dei chicchi). Per ora si è rilevato un ottimo acquisto.Consigliato anche nel prezzo che per prodotti del genere non risulta eccessivamente alto. Macinini a meno, sono trabiccoli… macinini a maggior prezzo.. mah per palati più fini del mio magari la spesa si motiva.Buone prove di macinatura.
