Easy, Delicious Expresso
I love my De Longhi Dinamica Fully Automatic Coffee and Expresso Machine! After using my son’s machine in his home during a visit, I had to get one for me. I was surprised how easy the machine was to set up. Just take the time to really read the directions and you’ll have a great cup go expresso!

Punches above its weight
I was lucky enough to have a very high end built in espresso machine at a place I once lived in. This machine was in the $5K range. Does this one measure up? Almost! Of course you need to keep the Dinamica in context. $5K espresso machines (at least good ones) are expensive for a reason. So if you are a real coffee connoisseur who can differentiate between bean types, want to tamp and fine tune and want a coffee shop level frother, the Dinamica may fall short. But if you appreciate a very good coffee drink and want to be able to have some control over your coffee, the Dinamica will be one of the best machines you can own.I did a great deal of research on the type of espresso machine I wanted to buy which was in the $1K range. Eventually, it came down to the Philips PicoBarista and the Dinamica. I opted for the De’Longhi because the Philips was almost too automated and I wanted the iced coffee function. Some reviews note the iced coffee does not produce legit cold brew. I don’t think the manufacturer was aiming for true cold brew but rather the ability to produce a better iced coffee drink. As noted, the espresso still waters down the ice so I actually put sweetener in the cup, brew it without ice, stir and then pour the espresso over a glass full of ice and milk for a yummy iced latte. You still get the benefits of this function without watering it down as much.Other reviewers were overwhelmed by the set up and figuring it out.Set up was simple. Compared to programming VCRs in the 80’s or putting IKEA furniture together, this was a breeze.Learning its ins and outs was also not too hard. While I did have some experience with the aforementioned expensive machine, I don’t think the Dinamica was complicated if you focus on learning one function at a time. So figure out how to make an espresso. And then the next day figure something else out.Frothing is lots of fun. The quality of the froth can carry the weight of caramel sauce on top so not bad for the little guy!Once you figure out the functions you will wonder why you thought you’d be overwhelmed. In short, this little machine punches way above its weight. Not only does the Dinamica make close to coffee house level drinks, it allows the creative inner barista to come out. Before you know it, you will be making all sorts of drinks and ordering a variety of syrups to spice things up. Thank goodness I leaned toward using this machine during the recent shelter in place drama instead of baking cookies — probably saved me a few pounds!

Better than Jura
After our 3rd Jura automatic espresso machine broke in less than 10 years and the customer service was terrible, we decided to try De’Longhi. So far, we are really impressed with the ease of use, quality of espresso and the ability to clean/maintain it without “sending it back to the factory” like Jura.My wife always got iced lattes from Starbucks and the home espresso machines were intended to do the same thing at home. This machine works great and needs very little “fine tuning” to duplicate commercial quality espresso. I drink americano’s and this machine has produced better drinks for the both of us compared to the more expensive Jura machines.I would recommend this to family and friends.Update: Over a year later, this machine still works amazing. Really happy with this purchase 👍

And don’t call me Shirley –
I have never used anything like this machine before, but was thrilled to be given the opportunity to try it out. It took me some time and experimentation to familiarize/perfect its operation, but after more than a dozen attempts now, I am feeling comfortable with this unit and I am very pleased with its performance . Though a bit intimidating at first, it wasn’t too difficult to figure out how to operate; the digital guide helps one step by step so that from grinding to cleaning, its pretty much a no-brainer. As for features/options? Espresso, macchiato, cappucino, and caffe latte, to plain ole coffe served hot or iced this machine does it all; its a coffee lovers dream come true. And from the milk frother, a bucket to catch the grinds, and some dishwasher friendly parts, to the ability to fully customize each beverage, I find this machine to be very thoughtfully designed as well as user friendly. Best of all? I can now serve/enjoy a variety of delicious, made-to-my-exact-specifications coffee beverages in the comfort of my own home. And as well as it performs, this machine looks pretty darn good too. This is a fairly large unit, so it definitely eats up my limited counter space, but the stainless steel exterior looks sleek and professional and complements my other kitchen appliances. Good looks perhaps are/should be the least important condsideration when it comes to this sort of thing, but personally, if I have to look at it everyday I want it to be reasonably attractive, and at this price point I don’t think its unreasonable to expect good looks as well as a first rate performance. Although I have no previous experince to compare it to, I can honestly say this machine not only ticks all my boxes, but it has exceeded my expectations.

Amazing Coffee Machine!
I absolutely love our De’Longhi Dinamica TrueBrew machine! I’ve been eyeing this for more than a year and finally made the decision to purchase it. Knowing this is pricier than the average machine, I wanted to make sure this was the right one for us. The things that finally influenced my decision to purchase included:- Hearing about De’longhi’s outstanding customer service. I did a ton of research and time and time again, I heard customers and friends share their positive experiences. This is always important to me, but especially when purchasing a more expensive item.- I liked the idea of being able to make a full range of different coffee drinks at home. With this machine, you can make single and double espressos; coffee, iced coffee, cappuccinos, americanos…the list goes on and on.- I read so many reviews of just how good the coffee is. I’ll admit that I’m a bit of a coffee snob and there are very few things I look forward to more than my first sip of coffee each day. This machine doesn’t disappoint! Now, I do need to say that there is a bit of a learning curve with this machine. It’s a bit of a process to get it setup and ready to use the first time around. There are instructions and as long as you follow the directions you should be fine. Beyond the setup, however, the instruction booklet isn’t very helpful. Your best bet is to google or search for videos on YouTube to learn how to program the coffee machine (if you want to tweak the pre-sets) and to learn how to properly clean the machine. Another tip would be to keep a glass under the spout when the machine is not in use as it goes through a self-cleaning process each time it turns on and shuts off (which is awesome!). While there is a drip tray to collect the water, the glass makes for easier clean up.Now that we’ve gotten our machine configured the way we want, it’s the easiest thing in the world to use and we LOVE it! My only regret is that I waited a year to purchase it!

Fantastic… with a learning Curve
Could not ask for a better coffee maker for the price. Each cup tastes fresh. I would recommend while beans over ground as it lasts a little longer and tastes slightly better. Not the not intuitive machine to use, but once you throughly read the directions and mess around with it for a day or so it becomes very easy to understand

Our go to coffee machine for Specialty Coffee at home is the Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. When I had the opportunity to try out DeLonghi’s new Dynamic TrueBrew, Bean to Cup coffee machine I jumped at the chance and I’m glad I did. While not as convenient as the Nespresso, I like the option of choosing your own beans and the flavour and aroma of Bean to Cup can’t be beat. The digital menu guides you through the process to ensure the perfect cup of coffee awaits you at the end of the process. It takes a little more time to make a cup of coffee but the quality and flavour beats out a capsule machine every time. This machine is big and heavy so you’ll need more counter space than a Keurig or Nespresso machine. This DeLonghi machine is about twice the size but still fits underneath or kitchen counter. The stainless steel looks great and blends in nicely with the other kitchen appliances. This machine will make the perfect Espresso, Long Espresso, Drip Style coffee and Ice Coffee in addition to Espresso Macchiato, Cappuccino, Caffelatte, Hot Mile and Flat white. With this many options there is a bit of a learning curve but with the aid of the digital menu I was able quickly master the machine after only a couple cups. The milk frother is much improved and easier to use than a previous machine we had and works best with cold milk from the fridge. When it comes to clean up the computer warns you when you need to clean the machine and walks you through the process. At a price of over $1,000 dollars I had high expectations of this machine and it didn’t disappoint.I’m impressed with the quality of the machine and the exceptional flavourful coffee it produces. This is also the only machine we’ve owned that produces Ice Coffee in addition to hot coffee’s, espresso and latte’s. This coffee maker is big and bulky but should fit on the counter of most kitchens. While less convenient than a capsule machine, the flavour, aroma and taste is worth the extra time and effort it takes to brew. This is truly the Coffee Machine for Coffee Lovers.

Can’t beat the flavor
I transitioned from a Keurig to this because my coffee snob friends said the differences in flavor is remarkable. I love controlling the strength, and using the frother to warm milk for cappuccinos. My husband wasn’t a big coffee drinker, but now has a double shot of expresso before he works out each morning and does not experience the jitters as with the pre-ground Keurig products.Don’t be intimidate with all the buttons. This is super simple to use. The first few times warning lights flashed, just go to the illustrations in the manual that shows what to do when certain lights, or combination of lights flash. It’ll tell you exactly what you need to do, like add water, or empty grounds, or add coffee beans. Love this! Now just trying to find some great syrups to use with it…. 🙁

This is the berst Expresso maker out there
Wwe both love this machine. It makes both great coffee and iced mochas. The machine is easy to keep clean as it does most of the work for you. It is very quite compared to many other machines that I have seen. Excelent flavor and great control over the strengh of the coffee. The taste easily compares to the best coffee shops and at a much better price. The machine it self is a little expensive but well worth the cost. I would buy this again and highly recommend it.

User-friendly After a Little Bit of Work
I’ve been very happy with this machine. I upgraded from a very basic espresso machine and was worried about the level of difficulty for this machine based on the other reviews. I watched a Youtube tutorial for the machine and read through the manual and have had zero issues using the machine. Is it more challenging to use than your average drip machine? Sure. But, for the quality and ease of this automatic machine, it’s totally worth the maintenance.

The words “coffee snob” come to mind whenever I make a beverage with this machine. The results are perfect every time and so delicious! Being able to throw in whole beans to be ground and brewed is great; the flavor you get from the whole process is fresh.I’m lactose intolerant so I generally use almond or coconut milk and the frother works really well with those.Cleanup feels too easy with this type of machine. These Delonghi machines are quite pricey but you really do get what you pay for. You’ll have a machine that can make a variety of different coffee drinks, should last quite a while with its build quality and is easy to maintain. I can’t tell you if it’s worth it to you but tasting every drink I make, I’ve been saying out loud, “Ugh wow…”.

Easily a 5 out of 5 star review.I set up this machine as soon as I received it in the mail. I have been absolutely stoked ever since I ordered it. The setup up was fairly easy to do (I have DeLonghi machines) maybe for a person to own a DeLonghi for the first time it would be difficult but the manual helps a lot! The packaging is always above average and everything is easily found in the box. Now…. the coffee and iced coffee. It’s spectacular, the drip coffee tastes really smooth and lovely. Way better than a Keurig. You get a richer taste of the beans which is always good for coffee lovers. Being able to adjust everything to make your coffee the way you like it is just amazing. The iced coffee with syrups are identical to Tim Hortons or McDonald’s iced coffees. I would highly recommend this machine to coffee lovers who are dying to experience a higher level of coffee every morning. It’s a luxury that is worth having.

Our coffee tale: Keurig’s flavor was a flat tire; French press, a drama queen with mess issues. Then, De’Longhi burst onto the scene, coffee cape and all! Flavor upgrade – now my taste buds throw parties. No mess drama, just smooth, fresh cups effortlessly.

I’ve been lucky enough to have used a number of low and high end coffee makers ranging from pod based models, to automatic machines like this one from Delonghi and will draw some comparisons to those experiences in this review.Delonghi operates in the higher end range of coffee making products, offering a number of pod based solutions that most people are familiar with, but particularly excel at making fully automatic, bean based coffee making experiences like this one. This particular Dinamica truebrew model represents one of their higher end offerings (higher within an already high end market haha) with a price tag to match – luckily I can say the price tag is really quite worth it.When you first receive this unit, you’ll be taken with just how large it is – it’s definitely not a small unit. Unpacking it, you’ll find it takes up a decent amount more vertical and horizontal space as compared to pod based coffee machines, but for good reason. The Dinamica is a fully automatic experience – so it includes a bean grinder inside it, a frother, and of course the coffee making portion itself. Considering the fully integrated experience, the space premium feels worth while. In use, all materials used feel very high end, and the unit has an overall incredible aesthetic. It’s got a very clean design, with a mix of stainless steel and high quality plastics. The front screen is bright when turned on, and uses a touch based system which adds to the “fancy feel” of this particular product, though in all honestly I find I prefer the tactile feel of physical buttons that are used on the lower end models. This is purely a subjective assessment though, and the touch screen in practical use is perfectly fine. The user interface is straight forward, and getting this set up is very simple. The getting started guide does a great job of explaining how to make the full range of drinks – from full on lattes, to more simple americanos, this machine really does it all. The bean grinder works fantastic, and gives you a good amount of control over how fine/coarse beans are. Drinks that are made consistently have an incredible amount of flavour, and the flexibility to use any beans you’d like is really fantastic. If you’ve got pre-grinded beans, that’s not an issue as this unit will accept those too!So the core drink experience is fantastic – simple to use, and produces great drinks. The biggest addition to this unit, and major selling point, is the true brew functionality. It’s advertised as a way to quickly produce cold coffee drinks, having cool water run through at a lower temperature to allow more time for contact with the beans to compensate for the lower brewing temperature. Ideally, this allows for all the flavor at that cold temp, without the issues of diluation that can happen when you make hot drinks and add ice cubes. I found it worked decently, but honestly was not a massive step up from making hot drinks and simply adding ice as previously mentioned – if you’re looking to make cold brew, this won’t replace that unfortunately.Overall I’ve been really happy with this machine. While the true brew functionality is a little bit of a gimmick, this doesn’t change just how excellent the core coffee making/drink making experience is. The user interface is dead simple, and the quality of the drinks made is second to none. The flexibility to use any beans you’d like is incredible, saving you money as well as the environment from a heaping pile of pods. It’s definitely an expensive product, but I’m happy to say it’s well worth the money!

We LOVE this machine!
We absolutely love this machine. We were buying 3-5 Starbucks iced coffees a day! Now we can’t stand the taste of Starbucks. This coffee machine makes the coffee so smooth that when you get coffee somewhere else, it tastes horrible. The only problem is that we may be spoiled now and unable to drink any other coffee 🙂

A delightful experience using Dinamic
I make several expressos every day at home and have found operations clearly described in the included hard copy instruction manual and easy to perform. While the following is not in any way critical of the Dinamic: cleaning of infuser and descaling is mandatory, regular maintenance. If you lose track of last time descaling or cleaning infuser took place, you will eventually receive a flashing red icon at some unfortunate point in time. In my case it was before my first caffeine of the day.I have recommended the Delonghi Dinamic to fellow caffeine fueled friends.

Worth every penny
It’s expensive, and it requires a bit of a commitment to learn how to use it. But wow, it is worth every bit of the investment, and after a brief orientation period it is very easy to use. if you like coffee, this machine will make you LOVE it. If you love coffee, then stop here and hit “add to cart.” You will not believe that you can make coffee this good yourself. So, bottom line: it looks fabulous on your counter, it delivers superlatively good coffee quickly, has flawlessly handled a variety of beans effortlessly. Not everyone can afford $1,000 on a coffee maker, but if you can, it is totally worth it, and if you do the math you may be surprised how quickly it pays for itself.

Great Quality, Fast Execution, Top Notch Quality
I was looking for a new coffee machine. I use to have another Delonghi, I recommend this brand. This machine is expensive if is not purchased under a sale period. Is fully automatic so no need to do all the manual processing. If you enjoy putting together the coffee then a semi automatic will be better for that use.

This is by far the current be all to end all machines for house (Until a new better machine comes). We in this household are kind of snobs when it comes to coffee and prefer whole beans over ground. This machine will grind your beans for you so no mess. Think Starbucks machine how it has the hopper to hold your beans and give you the perfect amount each time. You are also able to choose the perfect grind that suits your coffee needs. It is completely programable so that you can set your cup size to the way you like it and have it set to the strength that you like for each so just a push of the button and you have the perfect cup. As well even with it programed the way you like it you are still able to pick the strength if someone else does not like your setting. Another great thing is the over ice feature as it brews it a little stronger and at a slightly cooler temp so that once ice is added it will not taste watered down and you can experience the full taste of the coffee that you love. The only real complaint that my Husband and I have of this machine is that It is Very loud The grinding is loud the machine starting is loud and it brewing is loud so it is not one we can use early in the morning if the kids are home as the sound we found tends to wake them as you can hear it threw the house. It is very easy to clean and empty out the grinds and it does hold a fair amount of spent grinds and will notify you when it needs emptying as well when it needs more water. Another thing is that you are able to use ground coffee if you ever run out of whole beans. Just by pressing a button over to the ground option. Overall we are really impressed with this and it is super easy to use That our oldest child love to go in and make Mom and Dad coffee in the morning as it makes her feel bigger and more independent. As well it has a sleek design a bit heavy but looks amazing.

MUCH Better than Gaggnia
We have had WONDERFUL customer service every time!We had to have a repaid in April 2021, 14 months after purchase. The machines was dumping to much water in the drip tray which made the grounds soggy and hard to get out. They sent a shipping label and we shipped it back for repair where they went over and above what was asked, even giving us a free part that we had scratched. That was not required under warranty. We received it back in perfect condition; better than new! All within one week! The report showed how many liters of water went through the machine, how many times it was descaled and how many cups of coffee were made and the coffee temperature, was was perfect. They also replaced a couple of other parts which we did not ask for.We just called again today and the service was exemplary again. We needed a new drip tray and they are sending one at no charge. They have a neat video system that the agent can view live while you are doing it which shows them the problem. Real Nice! The warranty is fabulous at 2 years but it had it extended to 3 years, by simply registering it. Sweet! This Expresso Machine is so much better than our previous Gaggnia Machine. There are a lot less problems. Warning lights would go on all the time with the Gaggnia. I finally sold it for parts on eBay.

This is Delonghi TrueBrew machine is expensive but worth the price to have coffee shop coffee drinks made right at home. I used to be happy with pod coffee and espresso but not anymore after tasting the freshly ground coffee and espresso (and ice lattes and regular lattes) this machine makes. It is so easy to froth milk and make fancy drinks as well as the regular espressos and finally, I don’t have to plan ahead and brew a hot cup of coffee or espresso shot then put it in the fridge (or freezer) to get it cold, just to make an iced coffee. I love that this brews stronger but a cooler temperature espresso, perfect for a cold drink. Making espresso is super simple and I like that you can adjust the spout for taller cups or small espresso glasses. It is easy to steam milk. It also steams and froths almond milk, which so many frothers cannot! I love that you can chose different levels of what it will do to the milk – complete foam/froth or also just steaming/heating the milk.I do wish that the hot water spout was a bit taller. It is hard to fill a thermos or tall travel mug of hot water for tea. I either have to tilt it and hold it the whole time, or have it go into a smaller container first and pour 2-3 small cups into my travel mug. For a regular sized cup though (even a large cup) it is fine, just not the tall travel mugs.I also wish that you could use the frother at the same time of brewing an espresso. Unfortunately it is one or the other.Overall though, if you love coffee and want to use freshly ground beans but don’t want to have to grind them each time yourself – let the machine do it and enjoy an espresso, latte or cold brew!

This is my third De’Longhi and by far the best. The Companies engineers have done a great job fixing the small problems like a overly shallow bean hopper and adjusting for cup size. Coffee is outstanding. Compared to my $6,000 Jura, this coffee maker is outstanding for its price class.

I live how easy the machine is to use- it does everything at a push of a button to make the coffee.

I wanted a coffee maker that could serve espresso, but also just a good cup of joe. I like my Nespresso machine for coffee but I don’t like how it costs $1.35 minimum for each coffee. The coffee this machine brews is better than my Nespresso. I can actually differentiate the taste of one medium roast from another, which is something I haven’t found too often from machines in the past. The only downside is that it serves about 1/2 mug. I believe that I can program it to serve more though so perhaps that’s something I just have to read and understand from the manual. The espresso is as I thought it would be – top notch. Want to know what’s even better? The iced coffee! Really, the iced coffee feature wasn’t something I was too excited about – but its really what knocks this machine out of the park…. its amazing.Overall, I’ll give the machine a 8/10. If I can solve the amount of joe per mug problem, then probably a 9/10. It would get a 10/10 if the grinder was a little quieter.

Absolutely worth the money!
Great machine for the coffee lover. We owned one in Switzetland, after six years of heavy use we had to give it to a friend when we moved back (110v vs. 220v), and it was still good as new. Immediately replaced it when we got here. By the cup saves coffee. The fresh ground flavor is perfect and the milk frother let’s me play batista on the weekends. Great machine.

There is nothing better than a freshly grounded coffee. I usually don’t have time for it on regular week days morning but this totally solves the issue. At the press of a button (Ok, to be totally honest maybe two), I can have exactly that in under a minute. Of course, they don’t recommend that you use flavored beans because of the usually higher oil content which could cause a premature grinder failure. I’d say that you could instead use whatever you want and just find a way to clean it as even regular non flavored beans can affect the coffee quality after a while. The package includes many different features for the enthusiast but I tend to be a simple man, so I go for a regular expresso with no fancy panty stuff. The frother wand is unfortunately not fully automated so a little more work is involved and there’s less control over the amount of foam (according to her). Last but not least, at the price this goes for, 2 years warranty is kind of a disgrace. That being said, the coffee does come out hotter than on my more expensive ECAM44660B, go figure…

Love this product! Would highly recommend. I was an everyday Starbucks kind of gal. Now, I can make all my favorite drinks at home and I think they taste even better! Worth the money for sure.
