Small but packs a punch
I live in a small condo with very little counter space in the kitchen. This grinder is perfect. It’s small but with all its settings, you can go from drip to espresso easily. I highly recommend this grinder.

Nice product
I haven’t had this long but so far it works quite well. I will point out to any buyers that it will not work without the container that captures the ground coffee assembled and inserted. Nice safety feature, but there is nothing to indicate to a user that it needs to be inserted for the grinder to turn on. While I won’t reduce my rating because of this (especially given the price), the maker could make it a bit more user friendly.Note: I do not accept payment of any kind to post false reviews. If I am asked to (as I have been in the past) I will notify Amazon and post a review that indicates the effort.

Wonderful compact coffee grinder
Wonderful compact coffee grinder, for whole bean coffee. I really enjoy my coffee when it is freshly ground and made. I got this grinder because it has so many options for grinding. I am really the only person in our house that drinks coffee, so I don’t need a huge grinder that grinds alot of beans at one time. This grinder allows me to choose how many cups of coffee I am trying to make, and then it grinds the beans accordingly. I always use 2 cups setting with a medium grind on mine. The grinder does come with a little scoop for your coffee and a brush to brush the coffee grounds off of the surface of the lid or anywhere else it may end up. The cleaning instructions are clear and precise. It doesn’t take up very much space on the counter, and is easy to store when it isn’t being used because of it’s compact size. I am one happy coffee drinker now that I have this grinder.

Works well for me, and very affordable
I’ve been wanting an electric burr grinder for a long time, but they were always so expensive, so I’m glad to see this one out there. I guess it’s not the only one now – seems like sub $50 models are readily available now — so this is just one of them, but it’s the one I can speak to. Others have complained about it being messy or having a bean hopper that’s too small, but I don’t find either of those to be an issue. I really think some people may just not be using it correctly, because it’s been great for me.

Works as described.
I’ve observed that it’s among the most inexpensive burr coffee grinders–yet it works flawlessly. I was fortunate enough to get mine as a “lightning” deal. A number of reviewers pointed out that it’s difficult to slide out and open the container after grinding, but I haven’t found that to be a problem on mine. There is no grounding plug on the cord, but the case is entirely plastic, so there’s no way to get a shock from this device. I can’t speak to using it for espresso as my only use is pour-over coffee, which it does well.

Very good quality
I am very happy with the quality and functionality of this grinder. It’s not as noisy as some reviewers had stated. Just about the same as my previous grinder.

Automatic timer
This may be small but I don’t like grind beans in large batches. I feel it with beans. I like a fine grind you simply press the button with the settings where you need them and it shuts off when everything is ground.

Feeling Wankled!
Received our first Wankle and it didn’t work so we felt Wankled, and bummed but we did a return swap and the new one works fantastic, Wankle is now our favorite word and we love to start each day with fresh ground coffee exactly as needed. Only complaint is we have to hold the drawer in as it grinds so it doesn’t rattle out while grinding but it’s a minor inconvenience as most grinders you have to hold anyway so not a big deal and probably a way we can rig it in future

Excellent coffee grinder and easy to use
This coffee grinder gets the job done fast and doesn’t even take up any counter space. It grinds evenly—whether you want a coarse or fine texture, and the lid stays on tight so there’s no mess. It’s easy to use with just one button, and cleaning it isn’t a hassle. If you want fresh grinds without any fuss, this is an excellent choice.

Happy with grinder
This is a pretty cool little grinder. Smaller than we imagined but does great work. Love the settings for different sizes to grind and different quantities (2-12cups). Makes it easy to grind just the right amount. All in all works really good and is convenient.

Good burr grinder
This is a good burr grinder. You really have to test how it grinds for each type of bean. One setting for a bean is not the same for another. We had a bag of beans that had a lot of oil on them and they were apparently softer that other beans, so the setting we used for our other bag of beans ground the current bag almost to an espresso ground. Test the beans and grind first before placing a large patch of beans in the grinder. Overall, it is a good value.

Wonderful Compact Coffee Grinder
I was attracted to the design of this grinder. It is solidly built, nice and compact, easy to store and easy to clean. I also liked the fact that the hopper was small, allowing for one to two cups of on demand, freshly ground coffee. The flat burr design is also a plus as is the precise control of the grind size. Some folks talk about the noise, I find it on par with a blade type grinder and quieter than expected. Over all I am very pleased, highly recommended!

Great budget coffee grinder choice!
While this grinder is relatively inexpensive, I’ve found that it performs just as well as automatic coffee grinders in the under $200 price range. The machine is simple and easy to use. Due to the small size I find that I need to fill the hopper each time I use the machine as opposed to storing a lot of whole beans and just grinding when needed, but I don’t see this as a complaint as it’s often easier to pre-weigh beans and just insert the amount I need to grind as opposed to trying to weigh the grounds after grinding. This is a flat burr grinder, so the consistency and grind uniformity isn’t as you’d expect from a much more expensive machine with heavy duty metal burrs. This machine will produce fine particulates which can cause the coffee to be bitter, but it’s easy enough to compensate for that by adjusting the grind to be coarser to help balance it out and avoid bitterness. If you’re looking at a grinder for something like pour-over coffee, this would work, but you may find yourself wanting to upgrade sooner than most people as that style of brewing tends to rely on consistency that is a little harder to achieve with this machine due to fine particulates. Overall not as consistent as a barista-level grinder but I think this is a solid choice for the average coffee brewer, especially for the price!

Doesn’t make a mess!
Works great! It is out, but unlike other grinders, it doesn’t make a mess. I hold the top on and the canister in for the few seconds while it grinds and I haven’t had an issue at all with spilt coffee. Would absolutely recommend

Works great and I like how it knows just how much to grind
This coffee grinder does a good job grinding the coffee and I like how I can set the numbers of cups I’m brewing and it grinds just enough beans for the cups being brewed. It is a little noisy but I didn’t expect it to be quiet.I kind of wish it held more beans. Basically have to fill the small hopper each time but any bigger and it wouldn’t be the compact size I like. Anyway, overall it’s very worth the price.

Fanciest coffee grinder
Taking this out of the package, the first thing to decide is how fine to grind the coffee. From French press to Italian coffee, the dial slides to indicate how dark the coffee will be. Next, how many cups of coffee will you be grinding?I love a dark cup of coffee. The quality of the grind is outstanding. The scoop that is provided is perfect. One side has the spoon, the other a brush to get into the crevices. Defiantly needed. The cups are vastly different based on the adjustments. I started at 14 and made the best deepest coffee from a medium roast. Then adjusted to 7 for a regular cup with the same roast. This gives you such variety. It changes the same coffee for a completely different experience.I have been using a spice grinder for years not knowing what I have been missing. For the price point, this is a must add to any coffee lovers kitchen. I feel like I have been cheating myself out of the best cups of coffee. I will never go back to preground coffee again. So simple to use. Good compact size. Honest I could wax on for a couple more paragraphs about how good this product is but really just get it and see for yourself. High end coffee machine starts with a good grind of a good bean. The rest is in your hands now.

Exactly as pictured
My husband is spoiled and loves fresh ground coffee – but his last coffee grinder cracked, so went back on the search for something maybe a little different, a little larger size and this seems about perfect so far. I think that you can pour the beans in the top and then the ground bit drops down into a container versus all being in one – plus it’s a decent capacity size so you can prep the whole week pretty quickly if you wanted to. Overall, solid option for a coffee grinder.
ScottScott –
Grinds my coffee perfectly
This is an awesome bean grinder. I’ve used it several times so far, and have had no issues with setting how fine my grounds are as well as the amount of cups that I’m looking to brew. It’s a little off on the cup measurement and seems to turn off just before finishing grinding the last few beans (with proper measurements), but turning it up 1 cup did the trick which honestly isn’t a huge deal. Initially it didn’t look that big so I was a little bit concerned if I was going to be able to grind my usual amount needed for half a pot without having to repeatedly fill up the tank, but thankfully it fit the needed beans with plenty of room to spare if I wanted to make a full pot if we have guests. It comes with a brush and scoop for easy cleaning. It’s fairly quiet compared to some of the manual bean grinders that I’ve had, until it runs out though in which case it gets fairly loud for a couple of seconds until done. You also have the ability to manually stop it when it finishes by pressing the power button. The only issue I’ve seen is that the plastic lid for the tank kind of rattles and loosens during operation. Nothing too crazy but I wish there was a way to lock it into place while it’s running. Otherwise, it’s done great and I’d recommend it.

Little loud as grinders are. Love the concealed cup that holds grinds, keeps mess all contained inside. Perfect grind measurements. Does enough for 1 pot (12 cups ) then you have to refill. Small enough to slide back on counter does no take up much space at all.

Good grinder
Bought this to replace my Mr. Coffee burr grinder that had developed a bad power button. So far I am pleased with this grinder. It takes up much less counter space. The Mr. Coffee grinder would often leave coffee particles on the counter and at the base of collection box, a bit messy. The Wancle captures all of the grind. I does have a small hopper but I don’t store my beans in the hopper so this is not a concern. The grind is consistent and has good range from coarse to fine. This is a good grinder for those looking for an affordable alternative to higher end grinders.

Better for my needs
I bought this to replace a larger conical burr machine. This one is much more compact so it needs less storage and counter space and it seems to have almost elliminated the anoying mess caused by static charge build up of the conical grinder. I still get the consistant grind I need.

I Love My Wancle
This is an excellent grinder that is very similar to grinders that you will find built into high-end espresso machines. The plethora of settings allows for a multitude of grind grades as well as grind amounts. As complex as this grinder may seem, the Wancle is very easy to use and clean. I use it for my daily French press grind, my finer espresso grind, as well as my ultra-fine Turkish grind, and it handles producing each grind extremely well. Typical of a burr grinder, it can get gunky over time, even when using the included brushes. When that happens, there are grinder cleaning tablets that you grind that will clean it right up. Do a search on Amazon, and you will find them easily.Probably one of the most amazing things about this grinder is the price point. I honestly don’t see how Wancle is making any money because this great grinder is so inexpensive. It is a no-brainer to get one of these if you don’t have one already. I highly recommend this product.

Compact and steady little grinder with adjustable settings!
This coffee grinder is a must-have for coffee enthusiasts – I have 4 different coffee makers and they are all different! With 28 grind settings, it’s easy to customize the grind for my selection of coffee and how I am brewing, from finer ground espresso for my espresso machine to a little coarser Columbian for my French press. The design is sleek and compact, fitting well on my countertop. It’s also surprisingly quiet compared to other grinders. The quality of the grind is consistent, and I use it for fresh single-cup brewing but it can handle enough beans for up to 12 cups of coffee. If you really love the bean-to-brew process, this is a great choice.

Good! Bad. Good! Goodbadgood!
First, I got the grinder. My expectations were quite low because it was literally the cheapest burr grinder I could find. I figured, well, it’s not likely to get the coffee any less even than a blade grinder, right? And I don’t have an espresso machine, so even if it’s not super fine, that should be okay…I was really surprised. Really really. The grind looks even to me. The grinder doesn’t make a mess. The first several grinds are much too fine for me – I have to go to just a little below halfway to get a grind that works for my Aeropress. Great! And then…it died. In a little over a month – in fact, about 3 days past the last day it would have been eligible for returns. Terrible. And then I contacted their customer service. They responded in about 6 hours, asking for my order number. After I gave it to them, it was less than 2 days before they sent me a replacement through Amazon. It arrived a few days later. Just like I wasn’t expecting a good grinder, I really wasn’t expecting such great customer service. Awesome.I haven’t had the replacement for more than a week or two yet, so I don’t know if it’s going to die as quickly as the first. I’ll update if it does. But basically, this was a fantastic purchase.

Great for espresso grind
I specifically got this adjustable grinder to use with espresso beans and pulling espresso shots. It does that surprisingly well; we had our last grinder for YEARS so it’s amazing to see how fresh blades and a slightly more powerful motor can speed up the process! The finest setting does wonders for extracting a stronger espresso shot and it is possible to visually see the coarsness change when the adjustment setting is changed. It is visually pleasing to look at and is pretty compact, although I wish it were made of more sustainable materials… it’s almost entirely made of plastic.

This Burr Coffee Grinder is better than my previous $140 burr grinder that broke last month. it is quick, consistent, and well designed. Grinds well, is low profile, quiet, doesn’t get clogged, and is priced affordably.
This is a nice little compact bur grinder. It is much quieter than my previous bur grinder. I have to grind more often as the receptable is smaller, but it doesn’t get clogged up the way my old grinder did, so I don’t mind having to grind coffee more often. This is an impressive bur grinder for the price.

Love the size!!!
I hate countertop appliances but I also am tired of my handheld grinder because it doesn’t make much and you have to use it often and I hate the noise. I wanted a larger grinder but not a massive one that sits on the counter. This is such a great size! Makes enough I only have to use it once a week and the little container comes out so I put that by my espresso machine and put away the rest. It’s extremely easy to use as well. Very happy with my purchase.

Best Grind ever
I love this grinder and the fineness of the grind is a pleasure to use. The only difficulty I had with it (was operator error) I couldn’t seem to figure out how to open the grain holder. It took me way to long to figure it out but it wasn’t the machines problem. It pulls up.

Meets needs perfectly
This is a terrific grinder that meets specific needs. First and foremost it grinds coffee beans very well. It is small taking up little counter space. That said it does claim to grind enough for 12 cups. Haven’t tried that much and it could be a stretch but grinds well and isn’t especially noisy. A good little grinder that fits in well.

Not disappointed
I finally broke down & bought an electric grinder because my shoulder is so bad off I can barely grind my morning brew. I was worried the beans would taste burnt as has been my experience in the past. This grinder does the beans slower & more delicately, preserving the flavor. It holds & grinds enough for my French press pot & doesn’t seem to bother my cat at all with its low volume grind. Does a great job & tucks away nicely where I had my manual grinder.

Verified buyer review
Got it today. Tried it right away. It’s a bit noisy, but fast. I bought it because I’m a full time RVer and this is the smallest burr mill I can find, and the price. I used the finest setting and it was just right for my moka pot and the course setting for my French press. I hope it lasts a long time because I really like it. I’ve heard complaints about the number of cups settings being incorrect. That isn’t a problem because I only grind what I need for my 6 and 9 cup moka pots and my 34 oz French press. I leave it turned to the maximum setting and when my beans are finished grinding I stop the mill. Too simple for some folks I reckon. If I have issues with it in the future I’ll update this review, not that anyone reads positive reviews, lol

It’s a grinding super machine
Okay, I’ll admit it, ‘Wancle’ sounds like something you’d find in the bargain bin at a dollar store. But surprisingly, this little grinder packs a punch! It’s surprisingly powerful for its size and grinds beans quickly and evenly. I was initially skeptical, given the name, but I’m pleasantly surprised. The build quality is decent, and it’s easy to clean. I still chuckle every time I use it, imagining a tiny man named Wancle meticulously crafting each grinder. But hey, if it makes good coffee, I can overlook the slightly awkward name. Plus, it’s a great conversation starter. ‘Oh, this? Just my trusty Wancle grinder. You know, the ones made by that company with the hilarious name?

The Wancle Electric Burr Coffee Grinder – Adjustable with 28 Precise Grind Settings for 12 Cups – Professional Coffee Bean Grinder (Plastic, Silver) is a great little coffee grinder – with the emphasis on little. The small size of the grinder does not detract from its overall usefulness. It is the perfect size for fresh ground coffee for each cup. It is great for use with a French press as it gives just the right amount of fresh ground beans without having a large hopper where the beans get stale. The size just makes it convenient. It is also the right size for an almost full hopper for making a quad latte or espresso. I did notice that there was more crema on the freshly brewed espresso that with any other grinder I used which is important to some people. It is also really nice to have handy to be able to easily switch types and flavors of beans, especially if someone wants decaf (something that falls outside of my comprehension). The adjustments are easy to make and give pretty accurate results. Overall, this is a handy, convenient coffee grinder that does a great job of preparing beans for a fine cup of your favorite brew.

Good grinder
I like to grind my coffee beans just before making my coffee. This does a good job. It is compact and easily stored. No problem with clean up.

Amazing little machine!

Powerful little grinder. Yet very capable. I couldn’t use it on level 2 because coffee was ground so thin that the espresso machine clogged. I grind it from level 6 to 13 and it’s spectacular! Definitely worth the cost.

So easy to use but a bit messy
I got tired of using my trusted grinder between coffee and spices so when this item popped up, I decided to give this dedicated coffee grinder (Wancle Coffee Grinder – Electric Burr Coffee Grinder – Adjustable Burr Mill with 28 settings – 12 Cups – Professional Coffee Bean Grinder – Grey) a try. Before I would have to eyeball the grind size and pick up my grinder to shake it around to get it to uniformity. This machine takes all the guesswork out of grinding up fresh coffee beans. All you do is load your coffee beans into the hopper at the top and then select the grind size you want, I kept it at 14 for drip coffee machine, and then select how many cups you want to make. Initially I spooned in 4 scoops of beans and then selected 4 cups. It was so fast and easy. In no time at all (less than a minute), it grinded up all but two beans so the spoon size I used is accurate to how many beans the machine uses to equal the 4 cups I had selected. I showed my husband as he is the coffee drinker in the family, he was impressed with it and thought it looked so easy that he could even do it.I included some pictures of the grind. I think at 14, it’s finer than what comes in the preground coffee. I love that I can dial it to the grind size that best suit the application. Coarser grind for french press and finer grind for espresso type. The unit is not loud at all in my opinion, plus it did its job so quickly even at 10 cup selected, it powered through with no issues and minimal noise, the motor sounded robust and never seem to struggle. The only thing I would say that is a slight negative is that it can get pretty messy. I had finer ground powder floating around like static cling. I grinded up a few days worth of beans for my husband and even dumping the ground into an air tight container caused a big mess. But I suppose it is to be expected, I’m not sure you can achieve mess free from any coffee grinder. A quick once over with my portable electric air blower over the sink cleaned up the floating bits that clings to this coffee grinder easily. So far, I am loving it. I’m glad to not have to share my spice grinder with coffee beans now and it is pretty much foolproof in grinding for a perfect cup of coffee!
